Have any of you ever encountered a really funny bus driver while at WDW? Normally the ones that I get are nice, but not too exciting, but when we visited a month ago we were staying at Pop and left to go to AK. The bus makes a stop at Blizzard Beach, and when we got on the bus it was standing room only. Our driver was HYSTERICAL! At the start he asked if anyone was going to BB and no one spoke up (or if they did he didn't hear them), and he said something again and finally a lady yelled from the back that she was going and he said "sorry, we're going to AK", just kidding of course. It was my dd's birthday and I had a b'day button on her diaper bag and he started giving me a hard time asking if it was my bday and I told him it was dd's and he asked when mine was. I told him and asked if he was going to take me out for my bday and he said that his wife might not like that. He then asked what the date was and I told him, and said that his wife's was the day before so he'd take me out. :rotfl: He completely messed with everyone on the overly crowded bus and it made it so much fun! He even showed us (on the bus) how he does an imitation of a siren (and it sounds real, too!) and claims to use the outside speaker on the bus to mess with drivers who are doing things such as talking on cell phones or putting on make up. He had us all cracking up! :teeth:

One Saturday morning we were gong to Epcot from AKL and were the only 4 passengers on the bus. They driver started out telling jokes and then started playing a trivia game with us. It was kind of a jeopardy type game. He was funny, nice, and made the ride enjoyable. We have had other drivers who would joke around or sing. Luckily we have never had a rude bus driver.

On our last trip, we had a bus driver from MK to ASMo. He was the best!! He tried to convince everyone that this was his first time driving, and that he wasn't a very good driver. He "mistakenly" hit the horn for the brakes, flicked the lights on and off and did the Twilight Zone theme song, talked about It's A Small World, and how that song will remain in your head - then he continued to sing it!! He would "accidentally" hit the horn instead of turn signals. Even though the bus was very crowded, he made the ride very enjoyable!!

We had a few last week while we were there. I also had a hillarious boat captain from the Port Orleans Resort. The bus drivers mainly made jokes like..what mgm stand for? MICKEYS GOT YOUR MONEY!

I've had several amusing bus drivers. Several times we've done Disney Trivia, jokes about what the initials really mean... Every Pocket Comes Out Empty or Every Parent Comes Out Tired.

Once, as we were leaving DTD, DD and I were sitting slightly less then halfway back. As all the buses made the right turn from PI, I said to DD "Oh goodie, bus racing." Then I said "Yeah we won" as we passed another bus. The driver came over the loud speaker and stated "I always win." How he heard my original comments, I'll never know. :confused3 But, we had a fun conversation for the remainder of the trip, much to DD's embarassment
!

We had a driver who pulled out of DD and did the loop around the other bus stops going so fast we thought we were back on space mountain. You could tell he was having fun with us.

We had one just last week going from CSR to MGM. We were flooded with tons of bad Disney jokes on the drive there. Why is Tigger looking in the toilet? Because he's looking for Pooh .... ahahahah! Tons more as bad as that. :rotfl2:

Anytime I take a WDW bus (and it's a rare occasion) I always here the same joke: "What's the fastest ride in all of WDW?"
"Before Test Track was build, you'd be on it right now!"

A few years ago our bus driver going from Downtown Disney - the Contemporary said to someone on & he said this on the microphone, pardon me do you have any grey poo pon? I think it was to another Disney Transport Bus Driver because I doubt it was to another car, but it was dark outside & we were sitting at the back of the bus so could not see who he said it to.

Bob was the name of one of the funny bus drivers at Disney. He picked us up at POP and was a riot! He was so funny. It is nice to see even the drivers getting into the spirit of Disney!

He had a bag beside him on the bus. It said "www.bobthebusdriver.com" never tried it....think maybe that was joke too!

Yeah, those things make it special... we had one too. he said it was his last trip of the day, making us sing, ask questions about the park, and joked about going to sit on one side of the bus so he can cut his corners.... most people had fun and joint in....

On our trip in May of '05 we had a great bus driver at the return trip to our hotel at the end of the night at MK. He too said it was his first time behind the wheel and the first time driving at night he was cracking all of us up. The best part of the ride for us is when he asked if there was anyone celebrating anything on the bus and, it just happened to be our DS pirate: birthday :cake: :bday: he asked our DS's pirate: name ad he had the entire bus sing happy birthday :bday: to him.
The smile on our DS's pirate: face was priceless. I think he'll remember that forever..

We haven't had any recently but have had some really good ones in the past. They made the trip in the hot bus much quicker since we weren't thinking about how long it was taking.

We've had some great bus drivers...

One told us upon exiting the bus ....please be sure to get all belongings, Children left behind will be placed in "its a small world" for 30 days...

Another one told us that the monorail tracks. (tall gray concrete thingies) he was telling the bus that, that is a giraffe fence.

We had one would look for aligators and point them out to people..fun :teeth:

I love getting a funny bus driver. We had one night after MK closed on the way back to POR. The bus was crowded and this guy starts jokes and trivia questions. He helped make a trip back to the resort not so long :thumbsup2

We had a bus driver doing this exact stuff with us on the way back from MK one night. We passengers began yelling at him to JUST DRIVE. He almost rear-ended another bus when glancing back to get a trivia answer from us, then on the freeway he did it again but this time went off the road but regained control before ending up in the ditch, luckily. THEN the THIRD time, he went left of center mid-joke. We all starting saying "Just drive the BUS". It was during one of summer's torrential downpours. As much fun as joke-telling bus drivers are, I'd rather ours just DRIVE THE BUS!!

HAD a Great Driver to & from the Hoop Dee Doo Show !! Bus was packed.
Had the passengers all wound up, in a fun, happy way !!
We all booed when the ride was over cause we were all laughing so hard.
I really enjoy talking to the bus drivers, I like the stories & corny jokes.
My kids each got Junior Bus Driver Badges from one once, they thought that was cool!
Its part of the whole Disney Package! :drive: :drive:

Our favorite bus driver drove us from MK to POP after closing one night. He entertained us with all sorts of trivia questions, and, as we approached the resort, led the adults (and DD6, who loves the DVDs) in singing the good-bye lyrices of the Mickey Mouse Club Theme Song. Then he said, "And for those of you children who are too young to remember this," and launched into part of The Good-bye Song from Bear in the Big Blue House.

It made standing on a crowded bus much more bearable. :rolleyes1
