What's the funniest thing that ever happened to you on a Disney attraction? I remember we were on Pirates of the Caribbean and we were stuck literally 4 feet from exiting the ride. I thought at first it was usual because they have to unload the people ahead of you, but that soon turned into an hour:scared1:. Over the loud speaker was an annoying voice informing us every 30 seconds to remain in the boat. We thought it was an actual person, but when it started to repeat, I knew we would be there for awhile. It was hilarious that when she gave the same announcement you could hear groans of people 5 boats behind us.

What made up for it though was that we could see the "Treasure Room" with the lights on and the sound off. popcorn::

A lady in the car behind us on Thunder Mountain Railroad screaming this: "Oh no! Oh no! I thought this was just a little train ride! Lord help me! Oh no, oh no!!!" the entire time. It was hilarious.

Also, one of my friends, Jeff, was in Epcot and he went to get a drink from a stand. The guy asked him if he wanted alcohol but he's not 21, he just looks like he is. He said no he's not old enough but the guy was like, 'oh it's fine you can have if you want!' Haha we left pretty quickly after that.

from my most recent trip of this past weekend, me and my friends were talking about what we would do getting stuck on disney rides. then indie broke down for 15 minutes, POTC broke down for i think a half an hour, our car stalled halfway through autotopia for 10 minutes before getting it restarted, And buzzlightyear completely stopped and they had to walk everyone off of it. the cool thing was that when the lights turn on, this guard rail system pops out of nowhere so people don't fall off the walkway. but there was a downfall to getting stuck on buzz. i had 600,000 points!!!c and i was only halfway through the first room!!!

When we we're on Splash Mountain our log thing got stuck at the top of the mountain where we all saw the thorns and we were staring at them for about 10 minutes and when we least expected it the log went down as we were singing disney songs and we all jumped out of our skin.

I once got stuck in It's a Small World for an hour. They kept the music on.
15 minutes in: This sucks. "We are having technical difficulties, please remain seated in your boats."
30 minutes: I am going to kill someone if they don't shut off this music "it's a small world after all..."
45 minutes: Hmm...how to best escape... "Please remain seated in your boats. That means you, sir."
50 minutes: DIE DOLLS, DIE! "It's a small world after all..."
55 minutes: "GET ME OUT OF HERE!" "TURN OFF THE BLOODY MUSIC!"

I was on the Tower of Terror and this family in the row behind me & my family were definitely feeling terror! Even before the drops began I heard "omg omg omg ahhhh help me help me ahhh. It was hilarious. I loved it!

Great memories

Once my dad and I went on ToT. After the preshow we stayed in the study room to just look around for a couple seconds for hidden mickeys and this one guy was kind of following us around... he didn't look like he knew what he was doing and kind of freaked us out. Anyways, he went into a different queue so we relaxed a bit. Somehow when we got on the elevator he ended up right by my dad and we were thinking "What the heck!?" because we hadn't seen him since the preshow. He didn't talk or anything, he just kept looking around and turning his head really quickly the entire ride.
*ToT music plays* haha

Once on It's a Small World one of the cast members up in the... little tower control room was dancing and everything and got all into the music. I was trying to figure out if he got so into it every day because he looked like he was having an awesome time.

On Dinosaur once it broke down in a pitch black section. The car keeps you bouncing up and down, and I hadn't been on the ride in like ten years so I was freaking out and thought a animatronic would popout of no where. This cute little boy in the row in front of us said "Compuder....Compuder!" because he wanted that scientist to talk to us again and get us out of the dark.

Oh lord..I don't even know what I would have done, i would have jumped out and swam away! haha. I think the funniest thing that happened to me at Disney, was probably this one time, I was with my mom, dad, sister, brother, and nephew.. Well, we had just bought a little toy snake for my nephew to keep him happy, and when we walked into the Star Wars ride, one of the cast members there started backing up and shaking when he saw us. We didn't understand what was going on, but he started freaking out! and he ran away and was like, "Snake!! Snake!!!" He thought my nephew's toy was a real snake. It didn't even LOOK real.

My first *and only* time on TOT (I was, ~11). We got into our elevator, and me and my dad were front and center! While my mom, brother, and cousin were last row, all the way to the right. Well, I was FREAKING OUT. I do not like to be dropped at random. So, we sit down, buckle in, the doors close, and we're just sitting there. The doors open back up, the man tells us "we're having some technical difficulties, please stay seated." 5 minutes later, the doors close and we're off to go through the "cartoon" part. Then, we drop, and go up- my dad is holding onto my leg, because I was 5 feet out of my seat (I ended up having a huge red mark on my thigh- that stayed there for 2 weeks!). Well, all of a sudden we just stop. And it's not like the normal, five-ten second stop. No, we're sitting there for at least 2 minutes. Then the speaker comes on and says "We're having some technical difficulties, please stay seated" By now, I'm hypervenilating. And 2 minutes after the warning, we're falling again. COMPLETE surprise. Worst experience at Disney in my entire life, and now I won't ride that ride ever again, and I even hate going into elevators. But the rest of my family (minus my dad, he understood my worry) find me hypervenilating halarious. Hahahaha, I don't.

My mom and I were stuck on Spaceship Earth for a half hour when I was about 11. We were stuck next to the caveman scene, and we're pretty sure we were brainwashed by the cavemen dialogue. We were reciting it for the rest of the trip, no lie ;)

But the funniest thing that ever happened to my family on a ride wasn't exactly on the ride...it was the photo. Me, my mom, my mom's best friend and her two daughters went on tower of terror about 5 years ago in DCA. It was my first time on it, and my mom unwillingly came along. Long story short, my mom's face on the ride photo looked like she had been trying to escape. She sat in the front row, and her arm was on the front of the elevator shaft (which I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to grab lol) and the look on her face was indescribable, while the rest of us were having a grand old time. My mom's friend kept the photo but then recently mailed it to us because I was pestering her for it. It will definitely go down in history as the best ride photo we ever had.

I have so many funny stories on rides, but I think the funniest happened on Test Track at Epcot:

The first one was when I went on for the first time with my mom. We had a fastpass. Got on, went on the ride and got off. Then, we saw the photo and I thought it was so funny. They take the picture when you are going full speed. My mom and I were up front and her hair was all whipped around her head. It was such a funny photo. We never bought it though.

Probably the funniest was the second time we went on. We had just met up with my cousin and her friend at the park. We then went to Test Track with fastpasses. We got on the ride. There were five of us and all the cars on Test Track contain six. So, we had one more person come with us. And this person happened to be the shyest kid I have ever met. We were talking all having a great time and then we turn to the kid and started trying to be nice and he just nodded and smiled, petrified. We went on the ride and got off. After we got off, the kid's father came around the corner and he asked, "So, did you have fun?" or something along those lines and the kid didn't say anything and looked at us. We all started laughing! I felt so bad for the kid. That was probably the best memory of an incident on a ride.

Oh my gosh,me and Stephanie were on Buzz Lightyear, and it broke down where the giant orange robot is,so I was like scared of looking at that thing.

My mom and I were on Spaceship Earth, and it broke down at the part where it's dark and you're going backwards,I was scared to death.

And last,I remember Snow White breaking down at one of the dark parts with the witch in it,seeing that thing,I closed my eyes.

On my last trip, I went on Haunted Mansion.
So I was in that room before the ride with the weird walls and got SUPER scared! I started nervously laughing really loud and then started blushing cause everyone was staring at me. My family still teases me about how I was less scared on the ride than in the first room! lol :)

Mickeysgirl34,OMG same here about SSE! lol except it was with my dad and he hadn't been on since the renovation in 2007 and thought the voices saying "Please stay seated. The ride will begin again shortly." were part of the ride! You gotta love dads lol :rotfl:

Wow, I think that was my sister.

My sister was screaming Before the ride started, And when it ended.
She was Screaming "OMG OMG Help me" Just like that!
When were you there?

my mom, my sister, and I got stuck in the Winnie the Pooh ride for about 30 minutes... At the rain scene... They turned the lights on and off and on again and off, but kept the soundtrack on.

"Wheeen the rain rain rain goes down down down..."

Looking back, I was surprised I wasn't scared that the place was going to flood (KK reference, anyone)

The first time I went on Kilimanjaro Safaris, I thought the whole plot was really happening. The attraction guide on the map said you were taking a safari, but it didn't say anything about poachers, and the drivers were such good actors...

I actually didn't do anything embarrassing in the course of the ride because of that, I was just actively looking everywhere for any sign of the bad guys (because that's what the driver said to do) because I wanted to help.

It's pretty sad, but what was going through my head was:

This is really happening! Something exciting is really happening to me for the first time in my life!

Not really "funny", I guess, except in retrospect.

yay for Kingdom Keepers! lol you reminded me of the time my family spent like 45 minutes in line for Pooh because it kept breaking down and this little boy with his two older sisters that were watching him were standing in line. he was a little brat and was really irritating everyone. Anyways, we got stuck in basically every scene and let me tell you- it was not air conditioned and was not fun. I wish we would have gotten out of line.

I thought that was funny :) I really get into it too. My friend was once sitting in the front row and the CM said "So, should we go give them a hand and help the baby elephant?" (Can't remember the names- sorry) and so my friend started clapping because he's a dork. Anyways, the CM turns around and says through his teeth, "Very funny!" Best safari ever.

My dad and I were on rock n' roller coaster this one time, and we're sitting waiting for the ride to start, we didn't have to wait too long (maybe like 1 min. extra?). The wait was well worth it because two women who looked to be in their eighties go in the seats right behind us! We bought the ride photo, it's the best ride photo we have by far.
