Funniest DCL Cruise Experience

they figured the quantity referred to number of pieces - not servings.

I have clients who did that on HAL. They love telling the story of how they ended up with 4 plates of eggs etc.

When they came home from the cruise, which was their first-ever cruise, the husband called me with a "complaint". He said "The cruise line lied about there being 3 meals a day included". He said this with such sincerity that I, of course, was shocked. He went on to say that they in fact only served 1 meal a day. I was confused. He said that the meal started when they woke up, and finished when they went to bed! Therefore, since they were eating continuously, it was really only 1 meal!

OH MY...these are So funny!!!!

Ok... I have to add mine.

While planning our very first cruise, I was trying to get my then 4 year old son used to the idea of being on ship. We have a 17' boat, and he is used to his daddy being the "captain". I explained that we would be on a very big boat. He wanted to know if his daddy was going to be the captain.
Me: No, Daddy will not be driving the boat.
Him: Who will?
Me: The Captain.
Him: Oh ....What's his name?
Me: Captain Hans.
Him: Oh, ........does he have any feet?
:hyper:

These are so great! I have to add ours:

We were on our 3rd Wonder cruise seated at dinner with another family of 3. Our asst server was having a little trouble with the language barrier. The Mom of the other family ordered iced tea. The Dad said he'd have that, too. Well, my DH said "make it 3".

Imagine the look on everyone's faces when the Asst Server came back with 5 iced teas: one for the Mom, one for the Dad, and THREE GLASSES of iced tea for my DH!!! And the Asst Server WAS NOT trying to be funny - he actually thought my DH wanted 3 glasses!! We laughed about this the rest of the cruise!

These are really funny!

Ok, here is mine
We went to the afternoon show of Disney Dreams and my DS 6 was kind of wiggling around in his chair. All of a sudden I look over and he is stuck. The chair had folded up and his feet had gone through the bottom. He wasn't hurt or anything, but he couldn't get himself out. I was probably quite the sight trying to get him out of there without disturbing anyone else in the theater. Luckily, we were kind of close to the back so there weren't too many people behind us. The lady right behind us thought it was pretty funny though. It finally dawned on me to take his shoes off and then his feet would slide back out. This if from the kid who continually got his head stuck in our banister as a toddler at our old house.

On our first cruise, our DD had just turned 10. We really enjoyed going to the family cabaret shows at Rockin Bar D. The night that John Charles was performing, he was taking requests. There were a lot of 7-12 year old girls there, so he asked if they wanted to hear Backstreet Boys or N Synch (they were pretty big about then). DD piped up and said "Do you know Dirty Pop?" Now I had never heard of Dirty Pop, and to my knowledge, neither had she (I think it must have been at daycare!). John Charles immediately says "who is this child's mother?" I sheepishly raised my hand, and he says "She obviously watches way too much MTV."
