Funniest comments you've overheard in WDW

One time my wife and I were at AK, meandering through the Pangani trail in Africa when we came across a family from Britain. The mother was frantically trying to calm her daughter (about 4, in her stroller) down. She didn't want to look at the "nasty gorillas" (insert best British accent here). After going on like this for a couple of minutes, the mother says something to the effect of, "maybe we'll just go back to the hotel, then, if you don't want to look at the animals!". To this, the child "harumphs", crosses her arms, and says (again, in her best British accent), "Mummy, you're a naughty mummy!"

We still use that line frequently when we see any upset children!!

travelling companion was totally offended by the Aladdin shirts the parks were selling--wondered why a family park would sell a shirt that said, "Did you rub my lump?" We pointed out to him (after crying with laughter) that the word is "Lamp".
ROTFL!!! :rotfl: I'm crying over here.

there are "great events in Space Travel" type signs. The woman in front of him sees the one that says "2030 - First Family in Space" which includes the family dog, Sunspot. She says, "That's just dumb, don't they think. That dog will never live that long!" :rotfl2: They proceeded to have this whole conversation in line about how even if the dog was a puppy and a breed that lived long, it could never live 25 years... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

On our first trip in 2001, we went to see "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience". This was the source of some serious fun and laughter for us. During the scene where the mice run out from under the seats, my sister was bursting with laughter and immediately lifted her feet to the back of the seat in front of her. In her surprise and laughter, she started kicking her legs - forgetting they were on the back of someone else's seat. At the end of the attraction, she leaned forward to apologize to the woman who was repeatedly pummeled by her feet. The woman started to laugh and said, "Oh - I thought that was part of the show!" :rotfl:

Overheard while waiting in line at PP, a child was complaining about the wait and the parent said- "waiting in line is part of the Disney experience."

Last week while waiting for Wishes to start,we were sitting on the curb in front of the ice cream parlor next to another family. We were chatting about the park when the mom mentioned how much her feet hurt.Just as I was agreeing with her about all the walking, her DD,about 8 or 9,said in a really loud voice "that doesn't mean you can have two drinks tonight." It was funny for us, but her mom looked embarrased and told her to keep quiet.

The two little old ladies in Epcot that were getting ready to go on "Mother Earth".

Ooh, Ooh, I've got one! On our trip in May 2002, we were in Blizzard beach standing just outside of the wave pool. A few feet away from us was a middle-aged, bald man with a thick southern accent. I guess he had gotten a little too much sun, because as he was standing there he exclaimed (In the thickest southern slang) "My heads on fire!!!" (From him it sounded like "MAH HEEDS ON FAAARRR")- and pretty much everyone that heard him say it started cracking up.

Ever since then, my husband will tease my dad (who is now middle-aged and balding) and ask him if "his heeds on faaar" whenever we're out in the sun! :rotfl:

:Pinkbounc 39 days until the GF!! :Pinkbounc

My family (mom, dad, 22 yo brother, and 12 yo sister) were at Disney a few weeks ago. When they were on line for POTC, a little boy (about 5) turned around and said to them "It's a Small World sucked, didn't it?". My brother said he almost died laughing, as did my mom. :rotfl2:

They said that the little boy's mother was really embarrassed, but they thought it was hysterical!

One morning at our resort my friends two youngest, 4 and 9, were running around outside between the three rooms our party were staying in. The 9yo comes in and says there is some man giving away free water. I said it was probably for the Pampered Chef people who were staying there as well. They go to ask the man and come back and the 4yo says "Yep it was for the Pampered Cookers"

One morning after getting off the monorail at EPCOT, I overheard a man who was waiting to get on ask someone if that monorail would take him to EPCOT. Oh my, that poor man - he must've had one rough night! :rotfl:

My dh and I went to Disney on our honeymoon 'way back' in Oct of 93. We were having lunch at Pinocchio's and this cute little kid with an English accent was quite upset about the lettuce on his burger. "Mummy, I don't want salad on my burger"....We thought is was cute.....and now we always say salad for the lettuce and tomato on a sandwich or burger! :)

DS used to call lettuce on burgers (or whatever) salad too!

A few years back, I had asked my husband to call and get us the Fantasmic meal package. He told me later that we were all set for "Fantasmagoric"!

I thought that I was the only one that called it that!! That is soooo funny. My wife always makes fun of me, but I've never called it any thing else. Now she's starting to do it. The best part is that it annoys our kids.

But I heard a typical WDW tourist say this to a CM:

" Excuse me, could you tell me when that 3:00 parade is?"

Isn't that fun? Annoying the kids, I mean? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

When we were stopping at the GF on our way to the Poly by boat last month I heard a woman tell her friend. "This is where they have that Herb and Albert Victorian restaurant!" I sat there chuckling.
