Has anyone used these people on ebay for pins?? I have never ordered from ebay or traded pins before so any help would be appreciated

I just got a lot of 20 today that I bought from Ebay. I looked each one up on PinPics and atleast 2/3 of them said there are possible scrappers and I found 4 that are definitely scrappers.

OP I visited their page, with the volume of pins they seem to have and the fact they are selling them for $1.15 a pin with free shipping.....I would venture to guess they are scrappers.

Oh man, I wish I found these threads last week! I just ordered a lot of 20 from funmamas. They have not arrived yet, but I thought I was doing good by checking their feedback...guess not! Oh well. Live and learn.

This is exactly why I always disagree with Stitchlovestink about feedback, it's just NOT reliable. I'm sorry you might be receiving scrappers, I'll keep my fingers crossed that my assumption is wrong. Please let us know what you find out.

I use pinpics.com and use the search function to do some of my scrapper research, there are also (usually) scrapper notes on each pins page.

Check the good/bad thread, I think someone mentioned there that funmamas had sent them scrappers. Personally I have not purchased from them so I can't say for sure.

Ok, well I got my pins today, and I am just unsure! I thought some might be scrappers, but then comparing them to pinpics - if they are fakes they are pretty good. I didn't get to find all of them, but I found several and they match up with the notes and pics shown. Most seem to be cast member pins of the ones I got. However, I am NOT an expert on them, so I wouldn't take my word on this...gonna do some more research before we leave.

Without seeing them myself it's hard to say, and even then it's hard to say. I'm not an expert either, I just know some of the signs. Unfortunately I can't afford to buy pins from everyone on eBay, if I could I would but I can't so....

Got my pins in. I agree with Ferrytale very hard to tell. I would rather buy pins from the park and let my daughter trade them. Safe than sorry :confused

I just added up what I spent on Ebay
I just started last week and I am done. To find that some of the pin are fake makes me sick to my stomach
Like I said I just start last week so my money was pending so I add a credit card then they would do an instant transfer Well it adds up quickly
I will buy my pins at Disney world or the Disney Store just to be safe

It does add up quickly, it it shocking how easy it is to spend a lot on pins. And then to have them be scrappers is very disappointing. My family of 4 can easily trade 100 pins over a weekend at DLR! Look at my siggie to see how many times we've gone this year, add that to the 14 trips we took last year and imagine how much we've spent on pins. It's very frustrating to find out you may have scrappers.

Just be aware that if you do trade you may end up with scrappers from CM's, they are not experts either so it's possible it could happen.

I just won a lot of 40 from retiredreadingspecialist, I've never won from her before but the price was right and the FB on this thread is good...my hopes are high.
