Funky radiator smell??

Has anyone ever had their radiators giving off a terrible smell? Kind of like old musty wet shoes? I finally located where the smell was coming from...we have gas heat and radiators, only one is offensive. Ugh...

What do you mean by "radiator"? I was thinking automotive, but it vaguely sounds like you're talking about one of those old fashioned heaters with hot water pumped through them. If that's it, then yeah I've smelled musty ones. Like the one in my cousin's former studio apartment in NYC. The water can get musty when it's not heated.

Yes, it's how we heat part of our house. It's been heated every day though, it's been cold here!
