Is he going to stop at a casino? I haven't driven from Vegas in a long time, but they probably have slot machines in gas stations now. He could drop a quarter in a machine and win a ton of money and then your guys trip will be really fun. What time does he think he's going to get to OC?

Kim they have slot machines in fast food restaurants in Vegas....LOL They have them all over the place, it's sort of crazy actually. I drive thru Reno all the time but even Reno doesn't have slot machines all over. lol

Thanks. I told her in a thread that she was part of the problem and that we were about the same age. We exchanged a bunch of PMs and voila that turns into thousands and many hours speaking. I should call her now.

yeah that is about how it happened. told me i was just like the rest of the ap-ers, and i was so put off by his comment that when we wrote me a pm that same day i didn't want to be rude so i wrote back--and umm here we are a little over a month now and our first trip is in 5 days!!!!

That is so cool that things happened that way! I hope there are fireworks for you when you meet in person!

My hubby and I met online.. We talked for years before we ever met in person though! We've been married for 6.5 years. Unfortunately he does not share my love of Disney. I managed to get him to WDW last year for our 5 year anniversary but he has no interest in going to DL I'm the opposite.. Not been to DL but seriously thinking I am going to get a DAP and go at least one more time this year.

I love it! I hope you guys have a great time and please post tons of photos!

My husband and I met on a (non-Disney) message board many, many years ago. We lived far away from each other too. It's crazy to think back to when we were like you guys, just meeting for the first time. I'm excited for you!

oh no!! i was all packed for our 1st date....and then i remembered!...this thursday is the thursday that i wash my hair! i am sooooo bummed that i will miss this great event! dang it! oh man, can you call matt and ask him to turn around and reschedule us for NEXT thursday? well, im so sorry about this scheduling conflict....i hope you 2 can still manage to have a great time without me....at least TRY, ok?? i guess im off to reconfigure my siggie line....

im glad you understand amy!! i really am.. so you know how it is!! you can probably guess when i first see i might need the disneyland EMT crew and some heart paddles!! RFLOL yeah i am at freak out mode, i was at nervous, but now its freak out..yeah so you found the story on us.. RFLOl yep that is how it all started over a month and half ago!!

That is so crazy. Aside from going to the Palms, Fremont Street and Stratosphere, I've never been off the strip. And here I was thinking all the slot machines in the airports were crazy. Not that they had them, but the sheer amount of them everywhere!!!

Im still here. I am still chugging along. Did you see he called like 2 hours ago, he was in the middle of utah! He is doing well.. he says he misses me, he can’t wait to see me, he says hi to everyone! And I love it when he calls me “sweetie” !!! ..i got butterflies!!!!! But I am now nervous..the freaking out is gone.. I am now nervous.. and breathing! I do have one problem though…. Cant talk about it on the board though.. I’d have to do it via pm…
