Kodiak says hi! everyone!!​

..lately the big guy has been getting into the xmas spirit. When ever my dad has the train running under the tree, Kodiak will go up to it and just stare at it as it goes around and around… he also has been treating the living room like his own potty yard. Yep, just a few times last week he did that, but now we keep the door to the living room closed and the baby gate up so he can’t go into the living room! We still can’t figure out why he does it.. it could be his age he is 11 years old..

Anyhow, he was funny last night. He grabbed his star toy that is yellow and squeeks, and was tossing it around the room an then he would drop it and stare at it and then bark.. and then look at me and bark which meant “ get my toy for me and throw it”.. so we did that for 10 min! he is soo funny with his toys! But he has a loud bark..and he is not the type of dog to bark a whole lot.. so when he does you just want to go "kodiak stop!!". oh and I have to add that since its been raining, in the morning when he gets walked umm he gets to walk under an umbrella(he is spoiled), and he doesn't like his feet to get wet (he is prissy) he is really funny about his feet.i'll telll you another time what happend when i was clipping his feet last weekend (just the hair and toes).

Anyhow, he lately in the last 3 months been having major problems getting up from laying down and sitting, its just so hard on his back legs, and he really struggles of course its tough for him anyway we have nothing but wood floors! And when he goes to bed at night, he “hops” up the stairs at night to his room… my dad doesn’t think he will make it another year, or be around for next xmas.. but I still think the big guy has at least 4 more years in him!

Fyi.. Kodiak now weighs 72 pounds.. and is as tall as a female german shepard…he is not a little dog.. he is a pure bred samoyed.

Anyhow, that is what is up with Kodiak!

why? well for one he hates the camera lense.. he barks at it... two when he is playing with his toys he barks at them its like he is talking to them!

he is a beauty sara. we had a chow chow named kola who was the best dog a person could ask for. kodiak reminds me of her with all his big fluffy hair.i work with a guy who has a samoyed, that is the smartest fricken dog i have ever seen in my life. this dog is smarter then some people i have met. enjoy him while you are able and baby him in his old age as i know you have been doing already.

yeah they are super smart!! he is still a smarty pants!!! and they smile too, he is smiling in his pick! yeah he knows when it is lunch time. he knows when its bed time. he knows how to signal us to go potty, and he knows how to get the sliding door open to go out if its sorta open

not true jenn. i will still talk to everyone. that is mild compared to some of tasteless stuff my husband gets from friends. sometimes i ask him, "why did you call me over here to look at that, gross!" plus i work for a company that distributes magazines and we get "all" of the magazines if you know what i mean. sometimes i feel like nothing shocks me.

hey jenn sent me a xmas card, and on the envelope it said "FUNBALL (SARA)" and guess what . now my parents won't stop calling me funball! they think its funny, my mom thinks my screen name is ridiculous and she doesnt know why i couldnt think of one more disney....

well that is just the front yard. an yes that is my super awesome yellow mustang... but that is just the front yard... i didnt get a photo of the back yard. we have a couch in the backyard.. its for sitting on...but my favorite piece is the sponge ball blowup decoration.... he was on sale for dirt cheap!! I had to have him!!

don't feel bad. my 18 year old son seen my name and gave me crap for like 15 minutes about it. they just have no idea whats cool do they? we don't have to explain ourselves to anyone.
