Fun Way's to Count Down

38 day to go!!! I'm thinking of doing something fun for my girls to count-down from 30 days. Last time we did the paper chain-link and every day they tore one off. Trying to think of something different.

Any ideas? I'm not very "crafty" so the more basic the idea...the better!!!

Do a calendar with blank squares - add a sticker (Disney of course) to countdown each day - save Mickey Mouse for the last square!

We always do a countdown calendar. I do to Disney.com and go to the "Entertainment" area (bottom center of screen), choose the Family Fun Activity Center. Once inside there, the first choice is Disney's Magic Artist. You can do a calendar there that has Disney Characters and Disney Icons that can be added on special days. We print this calendar, hang it up and then put a Disney sticker on each passing day!

I did the Disney calendar (same as in Pirate & Princess' post), but instead of stickers, I used a small Mickey head paper punch and punched black paper Mickeys, then ran these through my Xyron to make them into stickers. DS5 loved putting these on the calendar every morning!
