Fun Things To Do W/ Pressed Pennies?

Besides making magnets out of them, does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm thinking that my girls will really get into them on the next trip so I was hoping to do or make something with them when we get back.

My grandkids just collect them in the penny press books Disney sells.

But I pressed a couple to include in my scrapbook.

I plan on getting one for each autograph (i.e. a goofy one to go with goofy's sig) and putting them in his little scrapbook/autograph book aht I made on the same page as the autograph. I thought it would be a fun way to seach for them and not be overwhelmed trying to get them all.

We make key chains for family and friends! Go to Hobby Lobby or any craft store and buy the plain key rings. Take a drill and make a hole near the top of the penny. Carefully put the penny on the plain ring (the pennies are kind of thin so just be careful you don't bend or snap the penny),,,,,,,and voila! A unique memento of your trip!

BF and I have a printers tray from way back when...we get pennies and put them in there. we put all of our trinkets...

Just a thought, you could drill a small hole and make a really big charm bracelet!!!!

planning on getting loads and having them put in a big frame....it will have to be a deep frame
