DD is having 5 girls sleepover for her birthday. So far we are doing a craft, a foam door knob hanger that they will be decorating. We rented a couple movies too. Any suggustions for some fun games? Thanks

Charades is always fun for girls that age! My DD and her girlfriends also enjoyed the karaoke machine, they sang all evening!

The foam door things could take a while or be done in a few minutes...

I 've seen girls really like beads, making jewelry, doing scrabbooking type stuff...

Singing is always fun, they can also do a makeover, even with "tame" stuff like nail polish, or braiding hair with curling ribbon in it....

My DD and freinds always enjoyed painting nails....and a pinata.
Also board games.....used to be one that dared you to do things (I forget the name). They loved it.

Truth or Dare! When I had my fist sleepover (8 or 9) we played truth or dare for almost 2 hours! Another less adventurous option would be about anything dealing with hair and make-up. My friends and I also loved, and still love to cook or do crafts. We would bake cookies and brownies or use a craft kit. At one party all 5 of us made greeting cards for when we went to the movies with 5 of outher (guy) friends. Or you could always stick to ordering pizza, watching movies and playing board games.

Check out www.familyfun.com - it's a Disney site, and they always have great ideas for all sorts of things around that age group. I get lots from it for my Cub Scouts - especially games.

Watch the new Parent Trap and challage the girls to Peanut butter and oreos........ Or DD and friends had a blast doing this...

There is a fun game...can't remember what it's called....where one girl leaves the room then all the others hop into a sleeping bag...that belongs to somebody else! The girl who left returns and tries to identify the occupant of one of the bags. If she is successful then she gets to hide next and the one who was identified is "it".
Making their own sundaes is always a hit as is making "magic wands" out of pretzle rods, dipped in a can of frosting and then rolled in various colored sugars, sprinkles etc.
Painting pillowcases is fun too! Let each girl paint a sleepover scene on her pillowcase with fabric markers and then they all "autograph" eachother's pillowcases.
Having a polaroid camera sitting around invents all kinds of fun...just tell them to keep it nice!!!
Let me know if ya need more!!
