Fun things to do at BCV?

We're planning a nearly week long visit in April and will stay at BCV. I know we'll check out Stormalong Bay...but what else in the area is a must see/do? I have 2 kids, ages 7 and 3.

We've never stayed in the area before, and will welcome all advice!

Go to Beaches & Cream for lunch and surprise the kids with a huge dessert called " The Kitchen Sink ". It can easily feed the family and the price is reasonable ( $22.00 ). They put on a small show when they bring it to your table (bring a camera).

You have selected a great resort. It is a quick walk to EPCOT and a short boatride to MGM.

The SAB pool is wonderful and the kids will love it. There are also quiet pools for when SAB is closed.

The Boardwalk has so much to do, especially in the evening. You can rent the surrey bikes and bike around the lake area. There are carnival type games, face painting, ice cream store, brewery for the big kids , and nightly entertainment. It is one of our favorite places to be in the evening.

There are also multiple places to view the fireworks from Illuminations. The beach in front of the BC is a neat place. It is on the lake and has a sand beach (no swimming allowed).

Besides the other great tips you've already been given, I'd suggest heading over to Fantasia Mini Golf. You can walk or take the boat to the Swan & Fantasia is just the other side of the Swan. It's a fun course & works great as an afternoon break or evening activity other than the parks. You may also want to try Tubbi's Buffeteria for a quick bite in the Dolphin (and they give both DC & DVC members a discount).
