Fun, Sun and Mickey ~ Easter 2007 ~ Day 21

Weather ~ hot, sunny 83*F

Francesca had a good night’s sleep which was just as well as we had to go home today.

After breakfast we checked out of our hotel

and went to Downtown Disney to use Virgin’s check-in service.

I was just relieved we didn’t have to go back to Epcot to replace Danielle’s husky! After doing some last minute shopping we decided to go to the Rainforest Cafe to eat. Although poor Francesca didn’t feel like eating at least she was able to have a sit-down in the cool. I can’t remember what the others ate (neither can they) but I had crab cake and fries which was very nice.

Eventually we made our way to the airport; we were on the later flight which I was very glad about as, although we were delayed by an hour and a half, the earlier plane wasn’t due to leave until at least 10pm.

The flight was uneventful; I watched Miss Potter, which was very charming, and managed to get some sleep. We landed at 10.30am, collected our luggage, and were met by our driver for the journey back home.

We arrived back home at 1.30pm to mountains of post. I am always amazed at how tidy the house looks when we get home, it won’t stay that way long!

Thank you for taking the time to read my reports. This has been an absolutely fantastic holiday, there have been many, many, many highs, and I am already planning our return!!! In the meantime, we have Halloween at Disneyland Paris to look forward to!

They brought back loads of memories of our Florida trips.

We also have the little husky dog - which DD who was 3 at the time bought for her older brother however it now seems to have found its way back into her possession.
