Hi I'm having the neighbors over for a barbecue and I wanted to make a fun punch or drink recipe. I have looked at some but none have hit me. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

thanks!

I have a pineapple punch recipe. You need a jug of cheap white wine (I use Carlo Rossi Rhine Wine), 2 medium cans of Dole pineapple chunks in juice, and a liter of ginger ale. Pour the wine into the punch bowl with the pineapple and juice, and let it sit in the fridge for a day before the party. When you're ready to serve, dump in the ginger ale. I have never served it anywhere that it hasn't been a hit. It's very easy, but it does take up some pre-party real estate in the fridge...the upshot to that is wine-soaked pineapples that are sooooo yummy. Good luck and enjoy your party!

That sounds good Pkaroch!

We had this punch at my wedding reception. I wanted something not too sweet, sherbet-y, or red

Green Glow Punch
1 6oz can frozen lemonade, thawed
2 6 oz cans frozen limeade, thawed
2 c water
2 28 oz bottles chilled ginger ale (or sprite, sierra mist would also work)
ice cubes or ice mold (I like an ice mold with sliced lemons and limes)

Combine Concentrates & water in a large non-metal pitcher or punch bowl. Just before serving, add ginger ale & ice. Stir to blend, and garnish as desired.

Makes 25 servings.

Now, I'm thinking this would be good spiked with some vodka:goodvibes

lemonade mix - fill to the 2 quart line
2 cups orange juice
2 cups water
1 liter ginger ale
ice

mix together. Its easy and SO good.

1 2 liter bottle of Sprite
1 kool-aid packet of strawberry lemonade flavor

Mix together and it's pretty good. I've tried using knock off lemon lime soda and it is too tart. With sprite it tastes the best. The soda is your sugar and your water and gives it a different carbonated taste than the plain kool-aid.

Mojitos!!!

You can make them virgin, they are just as good. We grow mint in our backyard, but the stuff from the store is just as good.

All you need is...

Club Soda
Lime Juice
Simple Syrup
Fresh Mint
Light Rum
Ice

Yum!!!

Thanks these all sound yummy. Maybe I'll make one for my daughter's birthday party too (its all family so I can even make one with alcohol)

Sangria

2 cups of fresh fruit (Watermelon, cherries, diced apples, blueberries)

1 bottle of red wine (burgundy)

½ cup brandy (or rum)

½ cup orange liqueur (Grand Marnier, Cointreau)

Sugar

Club soda

Chop up the fruit and put it in a bowl. Lightly sprinkle sugar over the fruit, and pour the brandy and orange liqueur over it. Let it soak in the bowl for at least 2 hours, up to 2-3 days. The longer the better. When it's ready, add the fruit to a large pitcher, filled with ice. Pour the wine over the fruit and add a spritz of club soda to make it fizz.

"Skip and Go Nakeds" :lmao: (Yes, this is the real name!)

6 cans of beer
6 shots of Vodka
one can of condensed lemonade
cut up fresh mint

Mix it all together and serve. You do not taste the beer ... but beware, it will knock you on your butt! My friend brought this to a party I was having and my mother and MIL had a glass (both don't drink). They didn't think it had alcohol in it and was shocked after they drank it. (Let me just say, they both really enjoyed the party that day!)

lime sherbet and pineapple juice blended together. add alcohol if desired, but served as is is so good and refreshing!

Pudding shots! They aren't light and refreshing, but they are good!

1 lg box of jello instant chocolate pudding
1 cup of whole milk
1/4 cup kahlua
3/4 cup bailey's irish cream
mix well.....
fold in 8 oz tub of cool whip
spoon into 2 oz plastic cups
freeze for 2 hours and serve!

I have the recipe for butterballs and white russian pudding shots too if anyone is interested.

Beergaritas are popular here right now. Google it for the recipe. Very yummy.

Oh yeah, I forgot about those! Really good and refreshing! We used margarita
Mixer with tequila, corona and ice cubes for ours.
