Has anyone been here? Is there a website for them? What kinds of things do they have? Do they have a children's section?

Thanks!

SpideyHulk,

We've been there and I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. My kids thought the go-karts were OK. There are several tracks on different levels. The karts are, IMO, not in the best condition. There are some kiddie rides but carnival quality at best. I did find some info for you but Fun Spot's actual website is listed as being under construction. Here's what I found:

http://www.wguides.com/city/75/150_35064.cfm

You pay by the ride, so you could just go have a quick look and it wouldn't require an admission fee. It's on the side street down from Sweet Tomatoes. (Now there's someplace I enjoy;) )

Thanks Figment! I agree about Sweet Tomatoes. I love the food there. We may go for a couple of hours to the fun spot, but aren't expecting it to be anything like Seaworld or Universal.

Anyone else have a review as well?

Thanks again!

SpideyHulk,
Our daughters are 7, 5 and almost 3 and they love FunSpot. There is a small area devoted to kiddie rides (probably has about six rides and it's rarely crowded so they can go on over and over again) and they also have a ferris wheel, merry go round and other carnival type rides. The Entertainment Book used to have a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE coupon for an all day ride wristband which came out to about $11.00 each. Now, the coupon is get $4.00 off an all-day wristband so it's a little more. All of the coupon books in Orlando also have a $4.00 off coupon. You can also pay by the ride and you don't have to pay anything to look around, so I would suggest a look around to see if it's something you might enjoy. I don't remember how old your son is so I'm not sure it will be to his liking, but our girls loved it. Have fun!

Tina,

Thanks! My son is 4 so I know he will enjoy it. I also pulled it up on the web and he saw the pictures and yelled "Daddy, I want to go there." So for an evening after dinner, I think we will definitely check it out!

Thanks!

A few years ago I met the nicest couple at Westgate with a very young child who became fast friends with Michael. They had freebies for the Fun Spot and wanted us to come with them. Mind you it was New Years Eve and we had no other plans so we went! We had a BLAST! Turns out the Dad really wanted an older child to PLAY with, Mike was 9 and hs son was about 4. The two of them rode all the BIG rides and the go karts for HOURS! The wife, the baby and I just watched and took pictures...
