Please tell me which ones are the must fun base in athmosphere and this stuff. I don't care 'bout the food. Is a large group with like seven kids. I need to fill 11 days.

So far I have...

Sci Fi Dine Inn, wich I already done and is a must
Rainforest Cafe, ditto
House of Blues, not sure, wife didn't liked it very much
Planet Hollywood, never done it, not sure about it
50's Prime time, not sure i like it, kids doesnt understand much english

and... help :confused3

Ok if you don't care about food.....
Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness lodge
The Coral Reef in Epcot
The Mexican restaurant(I can't think of the name right now)
Teppanyaki
Chef Mickey's
to name a few

O'hana's at the Polynesian has fun things for kids, limbo contests, coconut races.

We had a great time at Whispering Canyon and the Garden Grill. :)

11 kids!!! oh my :)
fun places for that many may be hard to do ... but you might try whispering canyon at wilderness lodge; prime time is a good choice; biergarten is loud and there is a lot of food plus it is a reasonable buffet with music; you could try one of the many food courts in the hotels and then the kids could explore the grounds (like port orleans/ riverside has lots of paths and greenery surrounding a big lake); chef mickey at the concourse, mama melroses for pizza at mgm; the buffet at trails end might be fun for that big a crowd or the outdoor barbque they have over at ft. wilderness (never been but heard it was fun)
good luck!

My DD (age 14) says that Planet Hollywood is fun! It is loud, but there is a lot to look at and they play music videos on a big screen! Also - I suggest Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary! The characters get the guests involved and it can be a rowdy place with all the excited kids! Also, O'hana's is one of our favorites - they have coconut races and hula dancing, etc.. for the little ones!

My grandkids always want to make sure that we are doing Chef Mickey's, Sci-Fi and Garden Grille!! Chef Mickey's is wild and crazy. Stay long enough for the celebration song (sometimes it's different) and you will swing your napkins in the air!! Even the adult's get into it!!

Is Chef Mickey a buffet? If so, can I go with my family without eating (only me) cause I dont eat a lot of things.

Chef Mickeys is a buffet. I'm sure they would still charge you regardless of whether or not you ate, but they have a really great spread of different foods. We had a couple picky eaters there with us and had no problems. :sunny:

We loved the Whispering Canyon, it is very fun, they have pony rides in the middle of dinner(the wooden poles) the staff is very funny...look here at the post your food thread and it will give you some ideas of what goes on there.
Prime Time is a must for us.
Chef Mickeys
Cape May is a nice character breakfast or non-character dinner..very nice laid back atmosphere, the tables are covers in paper for the kids to color on.
Hoop dee du reveu or luau are fun
Any character meal is ually very kid friendly

My kids hate Planet Hollywood. the food is horrible and it is to loud to talk to
the person sitting next to you..and that is saying alot because my kids usually love anything just to be in disney

We have heard alot about ohana and can't wait to try that.
I found good ideas about places i had never thought about before on the
thread posting food pics.

Good Luck and have a magical time. We have gone with that many kids before and it is a blast to see all their faces.

I would suggest more Disney restaurants. RFC, HoB and PH are in anytown America - try Whispering Canyons, Chef Mickeys, Prime Time, O'Hanas

I agree that the Disney experience is unique and I would also suggest the Crystal Palace in MK, which is a character meal all day but it has one of the best buffets there and the breakfast is reasonable for the money. We love Prime Time because it is about the kids being "right" and the parent being corrected for inappropriate eating habits, etc. It's great!
