We had a wonderful time on this cruise.
A number of people have posted trip reports for this cruise and here is another. Mine is mostly photos and can be accessed at http://anselm2011vacation.blogspot.com/

We're from upstate NY and it has been a terrible winter. It's also a long plane ride for us so we decided to spend a few extra days in California before the cruise.
Other than what's at the attached link, here are a few comments about our trip:
The vacation started out a little shaky but with the exception of a few glitches along the way, everything went great. When we got to the airport the morning we departed for LA we discovered there was a computer problem with JetBlue and our reservation had only captured our first initials instead of our first names (the way I entered them). I didn't notice it when I printed our boarding passes. Then, when they tried to fix the problem by deleting and re-entering our reservation we lost our seats, and it was a full flight. We had a few tense moments standing outside security 5 minutes before they started boarding the flight. We ended up in better seats but not together. Good thing we got to the airport more than an hour before the flight.
The weather was pretty cool for much of the time in California and the first day on the cruise - but I'll take a cool day on vacation over driving to work in a blizzard any day.
We loved having connecting veranda rooms and I am really glad I packed 2 pop-up hampers and an over the door shoe holder for odds and ends. I didn't miss my phone, my computer or the internet. That surprised me and it really allowed me to totally forget about work. That's how a vacation is supposed to be.
We mostly didn't use the Wave Phones in our rooms except when our little one was in the kids club. They were pretty easy to use but I didn't want the hassle of carrying it around. One afternoon when we were in the hot tub some guy came in and sat down, reached in his pocket and pulled one out saying, "that was not very smart" - I'm guessing he is out $250.
The cruise was wonderful. Our room host, waiters, staff in the spa - everyone we came in contact with was phenomenal. The food was usually pretty good and occasionally excellent. The ports and excursions were fun and we loved having 3 sea days. The weather in Mexico was terrific.
We've been back for just over a week and are looking forward to going back - we booked the 7 night Easter Caribbean for 8/25/2012 on the Fantasy while on board.
