Fun meals for kids - noncharacter?

I am coming to realize I think we have TOO many character meals for our trip. We have 14 ADRs - 11 of which are character meals. I am worried my kids will be charactered and buffeted out midway through our trip!

We do have an ADR for WCC, which they LOVED last time, and also Planet Hollywood that my 8 year old thinks will be so cool to eat at. But any suggestions for some other meals that would be fun, noncharacter meals, and preferrably not buffets?

Coral Reef is a great one, Sci-Fi, 50's Prime Time Cafe and Ohana.

My kids love these restaurants as much as character meals.

Coral Reef and Sci Fi were the two I thought of, also.

Another one would be Morocco (band and belly-dancer).

Biergarten is fun because of the band, but it's a buffet.

Coral Reef, O'Hana's, Mexico (although the food isn't too great), Japan for the Hibachi side.

'Ohana is really fun for the kids... even more so if you go during fireworks and get a table with a view.

Teppan Edo is entertaining, so is Coral Reef, but neither have the greatest food.

OHana is great with coconut races, hula hooping and learning the hula. You mentioned WCC which we did for the first time during our last trip and it was a RIOT! Will definately do that again! 50's Diner is good for kids a bit older!

Coral Reef is a definite in my book.

Take a look at Boma, vast buffet with interesting things. AKL has some pretty cool things to see and do. I suugest breakfast or dinner before or after your day at the Animal Kingdom.

Don't be afraid to do something like Beaches and Cream, though many say it is waste of a TS credit. Do the math an Adult can spend over $20 there.

Coral Reef - we sat by the left window and had a turtle right at our side for most of the meal. we also requested personalized menus and a diver and it was great way to start off our vacation.

Ohana - lots of fun activities. coconut races, parades around the dining room and yummy food.

Sci-Fi - okay food (ribs were too dry and tough but burgers were good) but you can't beat eating in car an watching clips of shows.

Whispering Canyon Cafe- request the main dining hall. Food here was okay but the atmosphere here is great. Kids had pony races, while dads had to sing i'm a little teapot in front of everyone. Between the ketchup fiasco and enormouse drinking jars we all had a great time and would definitely come back.

Tepan Edo- wasn't able to get an ADR, but if it's anything like Benihana's it'll be fun and entertaining.

That is so funny. We had the same table last year all the way to the left right at the glass and a turtle stayed there for our entire meal. It must be his favorite place in the tank.

We're heading back with my 9 year old and his one request is to go back to CG for kid sushi and a view of the fireworks.

He also loved eating by the side of the water during Illuminations at Rose and Crown.
