Hi,
I love this board and have learned a lot from it! Am hoping to tap some more of your knowledge for my trip next week...my husband and I are looking for some lounges/night spots around the Boardwalk area or in Epcot/World Showcase for some relaxing after the parks.. We are considering Jellyrolls one night and I heard Kimono's at the Swan has kareoke one night? Anyone know more about that or any more ideas? Thanks a million..

If you like sports, ESPN can be a fun place to go for a few drinks.

Jellyrolls is definitely a great spot for an evening of fun. Plus, since it's on the Boardwalk, you can take a stroll, play a game or two, grab a bite to eat... it's really an ideal place.

Of course, there's all the clubs on Pleasure Island (especially the Adventurer's Club), but that costs extra (unless you have a park pass which covers PI admission).

In Epcot, I love hanging at the Rose & Crown, especially when there's someone playing the piano and everyone's singing along.

There's also the great lounge in... China? Japan? I can't remember at the moment, but it's a wonderful lounge with drinks and tasty appetizers.

You might want to check out the entertainer in the POR lounge. He is hilarious. Also on certain nights they have activities on the boardwalk, djs, comedians etc.

PI is alot of fun, so if you can make it over there definitely do so.

Ah the joy of a post-parks drink....

My favs are:

Jellyrolls- just plain loud raucous fun. (Boardwalk)

Bellvue Room (Boardwalk)- nice relaxing place for a drink

Crews Cup (Yacht Club)- Like beer?, you'll love this place!

Victoria Falls (AKL)- My personal favorite, very comfy, great wine list.

(Of course, if it's Thursday night, I'm on the prowl at Mannaquins :) )

Hope this helps!!

You gotta check out Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk and the Adventurer's Club at Pleasure Island.

Bob Jackson over at POR is great! It gets really busy in there and people tend to stay for hours to watch him, so get there early if you want a table.

DH and I really like the Atlantic City Dance club. We don't dance, but it's fun to sit in those really comfortable chairs and have a drink and watch!

Maid Marion-

Thursday night is cast member night at Pleasure Island. Definately an experience-- very crowded and a very "fun" crowd.

Tambu Lounge at the Poly. Awesome drinks - try the Back Scratcher!

:) I get a bick kick out of the Adventurers Club on Pleasure Island. You have to order their drink "Kongaloosh" ....it's a fun place to visit if you want a bit of fun and a show.

Have fun!

WL Territory Lounge - great mudslides, potato skins

CT Outer Rim - JamaicanMeCrazies (ouch)

Tambura Lounge - LAPU LAPU (just 1 & you believe you can drive the monorail)

Going to try out Mizner's at the GF this trip!

Try to go the Adventurer's Club at PI - the shows that happen in the side rooms from the main bar on the lower floor are fun. We had our 3 yo with us when they first opened and even he was amused. We left at on the early side b/c of the kid! However, we can't wait to go back.

Also, we went to Karaoke at the Swan's Kimono's two times and had a blast both nights! Drinks and appetizers are great and you really get to meet other people b/c of the friendly atmosphere. Everyone's guard is let down just a little with karaoke. Get out there and do it!

HAVE A GREAT TRIP!

thanks so much for all your great responses-now i will need to narrow down the list b/c they all sound fun...
