Fun inexpensive holiday gift idea.... LCR dice game

I posted this last yr on the budget board and bumped it up again..
I wanted to share it with all my community friends....
This is the best game ever!!!!

I was at a holiday gift market this weekend and wandered up on this booth where several ladies were talking about how much fun this little game in a tube is! It looked simple enough 3 dice and some small chips. The ladies said the more folks that play the more fun it is. I bought two and pulled it out at a shindig i was hosting on Sat night. One girl squealed and said when she goes out of town for training classes for her work that after class everyone will meet in hotel lobby and play for hours. You can play with the chips they give you, or do quarters or really anything you want to . I payed i think 4.99 for it and we all ended up playing for about 3 hrs Sat night. There was hollering, and laughing and table slapping going on. So much fun and not a game you have to think reall hard about. I would say it would be good for kids 5 and up my little one caught on quickly. I could see teenagers having a great time with this for sure. I looked online and there are several places to order it from. Im going to order several more to give away.

I have seen this at Holcomb's Knowplace (a teacher's store) but didn't pay much attention to it. Sounds like a cute stocking stuffer or hostess gift! Will have to head out this weekend to grab a few!

We always end up playing either LRC or Farkle in between matches at Dart Tournaments.. SOOO much fun! I had to introduce the game to my parents and in-laws..

You will love it.. ive got all our friends coming over tomorrow evening and its gonna be a loud fun night.. so glad our neighbors are out of town.

We do a lot of out-of-town hockey tournaments with my son's team and this game is hugely popular with all of us! There isn't much for the adults to do in the hotel at night, so we play this. We usually play with SINGLES! which is ok if you win, not so good if you lose! Last tournament I was banned from playing because I won 4 games in a row, to the tune of about $240!!! I SWEAR I didn't cheat! Really, it's a lot of fun, and every age can play.

We played LCR last year on Christmas day, everyone loved it even the teenagers, we used singles too!

My SIL bought that and is brining it to the family Christmas party. We are going to let the kids play for nickels and the adults are using quarters!

We have played this game for years but I didn't know that it was an actual game. We just used regular dice and had the one be left, six be right, and 3 be center. 2 and 5 were safe. We played with dollar bills and the last person who won got to keep the pot.

LOL my only problem with using reg dice is then I have to think to hard If i had a glass or wine or 3 then im screwed hence the reason i like the dice labeled L C R !

we play too - but only w/quarters! singles!!! I'd be broke, my 6 year old always wins.

I found a quite cool product called the PeaPod. I havn't seen anything like it before.
Very fun for possibly the sports fan, etc. Seems like a fleece throw that lets you link up with people next to you. Very fun idea. I think kids would love it also.

My FIL had this game recently at a family function. My son had a ball playing. He sees at stores and asks if I can buy it, I tell him no not right now. (His sister has already bought it for him for christmas)
