Anyone who lives in USA had any experience with these?

I know they are for sale outside the US, but have seen a few posts that they were able to buy in US.

funny you should ask...:teeth: I just ordered those today from Paramount. I was asking Rosa if there was any problem because I live "IN" the states. She explained they were authorized to sell them in or out of the US. She said that I would be receiving a voucher to trade in at a Customer service window when we get to Disney. I also get a breakfast voucher for our choice of resturaunts. I paid $311 per adult and there is a $15 per order not person shipping charge..

I used the FITS passes in December, and had no problems whatsoever.... The character breakfast vouchers paid for our princess breakfasts at Epcot in full, including gratuities. Rosa was very helpful at paramount, and was very patient with my endless questions!!! I would definitely buy these again!!

We used Paramount - wonderful company. I purchased the 10 day worldpass for our 7/02 trip. We will be purchasing through them again this summer and I will buy the best deal at the time for DD & myself. We will be in Florida for 14 days, however, 3 will be spent at Universal.

I ordered them too but we are not leaving until May. I got an extra bonus a new friend Annie, Hi Annie. Who I've met on lline asking about the FITS tickets.

Isn't it grand... the wonderful, helpful people you meet on here? Thank you Sarahsmom and everyone for all of your helpful information

My brother and his family successfully used the Fun in the Sun passes on our Christmas trip. I don't think it was because of the ticket type, but two passes needed to be replaced--the strip kept demagnetizing.

Also the breakfast vouchers are not the same as the breakfast vouchers from Connections or Hotwire. They did not include Cinderella's Royal Breakfast.

We purchased and used the FITS pass on our trip in Dec. I posted in another thread that we had some trouble redeeming the vouchers for passes at the Guest Relations window outside the Epcot gates. The CM helping us said she was familiar with the pass, but only for international visitors. She (and the other CMs behind the window) were very reluctant to issue our passes, which made us really nervous! Without going into more detail, there were some testy attitudes on the part of the CMs, but after several minutes, the CM helping us finally called a supervisor who apparently talked her through the process and she issued our passes.

Afterwards, DH said he didn't want to purchase the FITS pass again because of the problem we'd just gone through. But before the end of the trip, we were so happy with the passes and the flexibility we enjoyed, we both decided to consider the FITS pass again for a future trip. Next time I would not go to the Guest Relations window on a Sunday evening. The CMs with the most experience (and more familiarity with varied admission media) probably work daytime, weekday hours--just a guess, but that's what we'd do differently.

We validated our FITS passes at Animal Kingdom on a Tuesday morning.... No questions were asked at all...

We used them last summer. Had on problems. These are great tickets. We plan on useing them this summer if we can get them.
Have Fun

Glad everyone elses' experiences have been good! While we were waiting at the GR window, I told my DH that many on the DIS had used the FITS passes with no problems, and he said "It would figure...(we'd have problems)" We have that kind of luck!

Anyway, one of the other CMs there actually asked me what I expected to get with those vouchers! I answered (politely, I might add, though the frustration was definitely mounting!) that I expected to receive the pass that was described on the voucher. Fortunately, we had brought the receipt of the puchase from Paramount and showed that to the CM helping us. That seemed to help the situation and I would recommend to anyone redeeming these vouchers in the future that you have the receipt on hand just in case. We were there at the window for over a half an hour.

We went to the guest window at EPCOT. We had no problems at all. The CM prossesed the the tickets in less than 5 mins and off we went. The CM also told us how to use the FFITS ticket at KSC.
I am just worried the FFITS tickets will be gone when we go to buy them in March. Are trip is for June. :-)

Does the voucher have anything printed on it that states it can not be used by a US citizen or can only be reedemed by a non US citizen/foreigner? Or any other such wording??

Houseofmouse,

I honestly don't remember the exact wording on the voucher (and I should have copied it--I know better! :o ), but I don't remember it saying anything about U.S. citizens not being able to use the pass. I believe what it did say was that you could use an international drivers' license or passport as identification when you redeemed the voucher. To my knowledge, it did not say you could ONLY use those forms of ID. We just used our MI drivers' licenses as other DIS members reported no problems using theirs. Perhaps someone else who still has the vouchers will post the exact info.

Before I even bought the FITS passes, I emailed Disney to ask specifically about our eligibility to use them. A woman in Online Guest Services emailed me back and said, "We are not familiar with the mention [sic] pass...". I thought that was ridiculous because they obviously existed, so we bit the bullet and bought the passes anyway. Not sure why we got that reply, but had they told me flat out that we weren't eligible, we would have made other arrangements.

I specifically asked Rosa(paramount) if these passes were ok to use since I live in the states. She said yes they are a disney licensed agent and these passes included the US. Rosa also told me they didn't keep them in stock and had to actually order them from Disney. I should have mine in hand within a couple of days YEAH!!!!! I am getting sooo excited I can't hardly type LOL

That is it nothing about not being for USA.

Can you please tell me what they said about KSC. We want to go there before we go to Disney. I figured they would just sign the place on the back. Hopefully that is it.

Ticket Mania has these same tickets a bit cheaper for Mouse SAvers subscribers. Does anyone know if this company is a disney licensed agent.

I went to the Ticketmania web site, and could not find the FITS pass listed anywhere on their site. What category is it listed under?

Annie

You can only access it through Mouse Savers. The price is $300 for an adult ticket, no shipping.

We heard that with our 10 day WP. I called and had a more outright response - Disney has SO many types of passes, it is virtually impossible for anyone to keep track of them all - the computers do it for them! As long as the computer recognizes the ticket it is a valid ticket. They have special ones for companies, conventions, etc and the agents/CM's cannot keep track of all of them.

As a note - when I asked about the WP's - currently they only run thru May also - normally they will get a new supply late in the spring. So don't order too far ahead if you are going in the summer like we are.
