Fun dancing songs for an *older* crowd?

Well, not that old really :rotfl2: but none of us will be in our 20's!

Mostly mid 30's through people in their 50's and 60's.

What would be some fun upbeat dancing songs that would really uplift a crowd in that age range?

I agree, you definitely have a lot of party music from the 80's. I'd throw in some 70's classics too - who can resist YMCA, I Will Survive, Stayin Alive, etc.
 

Are you having a DJ? If so I am sure they can work with you on lots of suggestions.

I found at a party that no on danced until I played some Sam Cooke (Twisting the night away, Cupid, We're Havin a party), I will always get up to B52's - Love Shack, Black Eye's Peas - I've Gotta Feeling, AC/DC - You Shook me all Night Long.
