OT: Have you ever seen TEDTalks?

There was a photographer on one of the shows and he went to Bhutan and brought balloons and asked the people there to pick the number of balloons they had according to how happy they were with their lives. 1-10. A lot of them were very poor and had around 8 balloons everytime. It's a very interesting project, and he had them write one wish of theirs on one balloon. I love TEDTalks.

I've never seen it, but that's pretty interesting. On a related note, I read that Norway is the happiest country in Europe, and maybe the world. I can't remember which...

There is more than 20,000kg of rubbish on Mount Everest including oxygen tanks, camping gear, etc.

Probably not well, but y'know, well enough to play some music on a piano.

They were all good friends before the band (james & nicky were in the same year, richey & sean were in the same year, nicky & richey played football together, james & sean are cousins). they all had the same music taste and they'd spend all their spare time in james's house. anyway james nicky & sean wanted to start a band so they did with this guy flicker, who was the guitarist. but he left and they didn't have anyone. now at this point, richey was the only one who could drive so he was driving them everywhere anyway, and he was writing amazing poems and stuff, so they asked him to write lyrics and stuff for them and then in the end they tried to teach him how to play guitar, but he was really bad. but they kept him in basically because they loved him and because him and nicky wrote such good lyrics together. So yeah in some live performances he was unplugged haha.
Yeah, sean is the only who can read music, he plays the trumpet, and he was in i think glamorgan youth orchestra. the others are self-taught. :-D

Cows are holy in India. This means that people can't harm them. Even in busy cities, they can walk freely.

Yeah, I think he wrote almost every lyric on The Holy Bible. That's why Journal for Plague Lovers was so special, it was all his lyrics, and Nicky's always saying "We loved being that band we can only be with Richey's lyrics.." It's quite sad.
