It was great to create fun images for the signatures in the other thread we have going with AI, so I wanted to take it one step further. Since I pay for ChatGPT (you may be able to do it on the free version too?) I created a Project and fed it the point charts, trained it on the rules for using points, provided it with my contract breakdown on use year, points, direct vs resale, points balances etc. I gave it my preferences (Time of year, room type, general travel preferences etc), hotels I like, where I have stayed before etc. Now I can basically ask it anything I need. It has memory so everything I have told it, it will remember and reference. So when I am doing my planning I can ask it for help, comparing different bookings, what contracts to pull from in what order. I havent used it to its full potential yet, but it sure is nice to fire it up and ask it a question. It knows I have a stay in January at CCV and I asked about swapping over to Riviera and it did all the math for me really quickly.

I was thinking of asking it to make me a spreadsheet for my two contracts so I can monitor my points accurately. I have a spreadsheet that I made by looking at ones shared on here, but was interested to see if ChatGPT could make it easier/better.

People often focus on what others complain about in the news, but AI can be incredibly useful for quickly organizing information. For example, you could ask it to create a spreadsheet with every Disney World menu and the associated links. In just a few minutes, you’d have everything ready, and from there, you could easily get more specific—like filtering for dietary restrictions or food types. It does mess up the links on some, but it still gets you about 95% of the way there. I pay for ChatGPT as well, so I’m not really sure anymore what’s included for free versus what comes with the paid version.

That sounds awesome!

Now if we could just train it to predict what fridge and coffeemaker our studio will have 🤣

Yea you don’t even need to do that. It will retain everything and you can just ask it any time to spit out a chart of your current status. You and even instruct it that you will regularly ask for stays updates and when you do to provide a chart by contract and use year of your point status. Then you just need to go in and type status update anytime you want.

lol. But this got me thinking. I asked it in deep research mode what its predictions for Lakeshore Lodge are. Here is what it spit out. I’m curious to see how well this ages and how accurate it will be.

Overall, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is poised to blend lessons from past DVC launches with the latest trends in the program. Based on history, we predict a launch price around $250/point, a point chart on par with Riviera or slightly higher, annual dues around $10 or less, and inclusion in the new multi-resort trust (with Fort Wilderness) extending to the 2070s. If base price launches ~$245–$255, early buyers may land around $225–$240 effective.
