I have never eaten here, but my mom and a friend of mine want to go. I noticed the menu and prices and was wondering if this place was really worth it. I am used to the Florida Panhandle for fresh seafood. Anyone have any opinions? Thanks for the help!!:)

While many people like this restaurant I was not so thrilled with it. The food was good..not great. The service was slow and they had the tables way to crammed in together.

For the $$$ I think there are better options for seafood in WDW, like Narcoosees or Flying Fish.

I agree. Food not great, service was really poor and cost is high.
I wouldn't return.

The service is just plain bad! We couldn't even get a refill for my tea, that is, until he brought the check. Go somewhere else!

My brother lives there in Fla. and just loves Fultons. Iv'e been there twice for dinner and was unimpressed both times. The first time we had a very large group and as someone already said, the food was good but not great. I decided to give it one last try and went hthere for lunch this time. Same thing, infacet it wasnt as good as dinner. Not that any one thing was down right bad, just not worth the price. What little food they do serve for a meal just isnt worth the money.

I'm in general agreement.
Food was OK. Place is pretty enough, and riverboat is a nice setting. But that service--just plain awful!! Only place I can ever remember bringing out those warm "towlettes" BEFORE the meal was served!! Kind of cold and dry by the time we really needed them---

I, too, was very unimpressed with Fulton's. We went with a large party (11 people) and while our service was very good (we had a few small kids and the waitress was very attentive), it did not make up for the lackluster food. The food wasn't bad -- it was just okay, and not something out of the ordinary that I couldn't find anywhere at home. It was certainly not worth the cost!

Being former New Englanders, we are picky about our seafood.

We too looked forward to trying Fulton's.

We were not impressed and would not recommend to anyone who cares about quality of service, food, or price.

We definitely will never go there again. Food was alright except for the fact that I ended up in the bathroom at Pleasure Island for ½ hour. I won't proceed with further details...

I happen to be a big fan of Fultons. I prefer it over any other seafood place at Disney. Eaten there many times and every time the service was exceptional, the food was cooked perfectly and served very hot. I've had salmon, crab, tuna, etc. there and every time it's been a pleasure. Maybe I am easy to please, but Fulton's is a MUST DO on any trip to WDW or anywhere near the Orlando area.

W:eek:W! This is surprising - there are usually a few diehard Fultons fans in these threads.

I'm with the rest of you - some appetizer items were good, but our entrees were all frozen, and mediocre at best. Not at all worth the prices they charge. Our waiter was new, and actually tried too darn hard. Nice fellow, but almost annoying!

Go someplace else, and have fun!

We love Fulton's. My sister who is more of a food "snob" (meant with love dentchick, if you are reading this)than my family is, said her salmon was the best she has ever had. I have had the shrimp pasta in the past, and it was very good. This time I had the crab cakes which was also very good. DH was a little dissapointed in his grilled shrimp and rice this time. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as he remebered it. DM had the fried rock shrimp and really liked it. DS pigged out on crab legs, that were also very good. The portions are huge compared to other seafood places I have eaten at and the quality is top notch. The service on our first trip was slow, but they were packed and understaffed. The second trip, the service was wonderful.

I thought it was way over priced
service was painfully slow
food was okay at best
and am saying this even though I didn't have to pay
it was someone else's treat and I was disappointed

We were super impressed with everything at Fultons.
Design was imaginative and inspired.
Wait staff was flawless, attentive without being intrusive.
Lobster bisque appetizer was brought first with a shallow bowl with lump lobster. Then hot bisque from separate brass decanters were poured over the lobster meat. Wow!
King Crab Legs were hot, delicious!
Shrimp Pasta was superb!
Kids Fried Shrimp was yummy according to DD5!
Total bill was $121 for the three of us with drinks.
No Disney Club discount for 2002 but there is for 2003 now!
We'll be going back!

I love Fulton's crabhouse. In fact it is one of my favorite restaurants in WDW. The fried calamari is like butter. It is the best I have ever eaten! Sometimes the service can be wacky and not 100% but the food is always good. Also we like Portobello's which is the same owner.

We ate there at two different occassion. The first time the service was OK food was good the second time we ate there for Christmas Eve dinner, service was very very poor the food was not good, it was so bad that we will never go back.

I'm glad to know it's not just me! We had looked forward to a meal at Fultons and were very disappointed. Our food was so bad we had to send it back. The service was horrible. They didn't adjust our bill in any way. I would never go again.
