I've always seen this neat looking restaurant at DTD & wished to eat there. It isn't on the DP but I pulled up the menu & some lunch items aren't too expensive.
Has anybody eaten here at lunch? Is it good. Does it look as neat inside as outside? We don't have a suppertime slot still open so I'm thinking about lunch.
There doesn't seem to be many threads on this & I was wondering is it because it isn't good or because it is at DTD & not on the DP?
Appreciate any comments from anybody who has dined here.

We have never eaten lunch here (only dinner -- about 10 times), but I know a lot of people have eaten lunch here. We've always had great food and great service. I think you will really enjoy it.

Thanks for your help!

I'm not a seafood eater but I thought the grilled chicken sandwick & fries sounded good for lunch....& is $10 bucks each which I didn't think too bad when you think of Disney food prices!

Think we'll give it a try.

Enjoy. Let us know what you think. I don't know if anyone else in your group likes seafood, but here is a review of my dinner from our 25th anniversary (Post #17). http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1952509&highlight=25th+anniversary&page=2

We have had lunch there a few times and its always been great.:thumbsup2

I took my family there in 2007 and it was great. You have to try the king crab claws.

The grilled chicken sandwich is excellent. In my opinion, this place is one of the best values for lunch on property. Enjoy!!!

This is the reason I"ve eaten lunch at Fulton's, the crab claws! At lunch, you can get half an order for half the price of dinner. BUT, we ate there in March of this year and I was VERY disappointed. I got 3 tiny claws for $26 before the lunch discount for being a DVC member. Previously it had been 5 claws. The service was slow and not attentive. Getting refilss on drinks took forever. It really turned me off to Fulton's for lunch and it will be a very long time, if ever, before I go there again.

To get my crab "fix" I now do Cape May's seafood buffet. Doesn't cost much more than the lunch at Fulton's and I can eat as many crab legs as I want. They are very good, too! Snow crab, my favorite.

Our dinner at Fulton's last year was the best meal of the trip and was perfect for eating before Le Cirque. Amazing filet topped with crab meat which I'm sure you could get on the side if you're not too into seafood but would like to try a little.

We eat here every trip. It is our son's favorite restaurant. We have tried lunch and dinner and both have been great. Enjoy.

DD and I ate there in Nov for dinner. Best meal and best service of our trip.

I had lunch here twice in Feb. Love it for the atmosphere and being able to walk around on the boat and get good pics and look around.

I was not so pleased with the food though. 1st time I had the soup and sandwich combo. Lobster bisque was very strong to me and was luke warm. I asked for a hot bowl and they just microwaved it and gave it back to me bubbling (could tell it was the same bowl because of the drips on the bowl).
Person I was with got the fried platter and it was good if you like the corn meal breading (I"m not a fan). Scallops were good though and the onion ring loaf.

Second time I had a salad and subbed grilled shrimp on it. Salad had grit on it like it wasn't cleaned.
Hubby was with me and got the fish tacos. Tacos were dry and fell apart when he tried to eat it.

Seemed like the only decent things were the fried stuff.... 1 out of 4 of our meals. I would still go back for the views and ambiance. So it is worth it to try, just don't expect a lot from the food quality.

Our servers were very nice though.

btw, I misspoke. It is not a boat. It is a building that just looks like a boat. Originally the Empress Lilly, named after Walt's wife.

Beautiful place.

Thanks for the help y'all.
It just looks like a neat place to try.
We are gonna have try to have a slower pace trip this time w/o spending every single moment in the parks. A boatride to DTD from POR & then a fun lunch there sounds neat. Just wondered as there are so few reviews on it on the Dis board. Think we'll give it a try in Dec..

I have always wanted to try Fulton but we don't usually make it downtown until way after dinner.
