Okay - so obviously our first trip "home" and I'm trying to figure out what groceries to get... kids love Eggos...

Does a fully stocked kitchen mean there's a toaster? We're staying at BWV 2 bedroom.

I'm assuming that also means there will be pots and pans and dishes to use. We'll bring our own dishwasher detergent.

Yes, there is a toaster, pots, pans and dishes. There is also some dishwashing detergent, although you usually need to get more as it isn't much.

If you need more dishwasher detergent, just ask housekeeping for more. Same with dish detergent (and the studio will have dish detergent, but not dishwashing detergent, nor Tide for the clothes washer since you have none in your studio).

You might get these items free, however you may be expected to pay for any replacements. Here is the DVC policy:

Also for those of you staying in a studio, you will get paper plates and bowls, plastic ware and real cups for your coffee. Those staying in 1 BR or above get the pottery plates and bowls and stainless steel cutlery. All of the villas have a microwave, 12 cup coffee pot and 2 slice toaster.

No extra charge for dishwashing detergent or dishwasher detergent. But there is a charge for additional clothes washing detergent. They want you to be able to wash the dishes. They don't care about your clothes that you will take home with you. Also, you can get extra trash bags, extra paper towels or extra toilet tissue as needed. No charge.

If you need a cookie sheet just ask, there should be one. Some items tend to walk away with people.

on ocassion you have to ask for items as they do walk or get damaged
we travel in large group and we ask for an extra baking dish and they bring it out to us all the time
