Full size candy bar count

DD actually got five! We did hit about 50 houses or more. Where do people get the money to go full size?

DS got two or three -- I think they were all in our cul-de-sac, so they may have reserved full sized bars for neighbors only.

We didn't go to many houses. Didn't get any. In fact, I've never seen one given out.

It could be that they bought them in bulk at Costco or something?

When you think about it, it probably works out to be almost the same if you're handing out a handful of candy per kid vs. one full size bar, cost-wise. Certainly more exciting for the kids too.

I noticed the "full size candy bar" phenomenon last year for the first time when we lived outside of Philly. I thought it was an east coast thing, but my kids got a few last night here in St. Louis. I guess people get them at Sam's. The kids sure love it.

We gave out 90 full size candy bars...Reeses, Snickers, Kit Kat etc. The kids were so excited and we had so many that I gave each child 2 big bars.

My DH said our house is going to be marked as the big candy bar house..too bad we will be in a new house next year, the kids will be disapointed!

We live out in the country but everyone around here gives out full size candy bars. My kids love it but let me tell you it gets expensive for me! This year we spend about $60 in candy and thankfully because it was on Monday had enough for all the kids with a few left over for DH.

Both my DD got just one full size candy bar.
We had a house last year that gave out Beanie Babies. His mother died and was a huge collector, so he was getting rid of them all.
