Hi guys!

Is anyone else accepted to FSFB for fall 2011?!! Haven't heard too many around the forums or fb!

Also I was wondering if anyone has already done this role or could give me some insight on it? I'm super excited, but I don't really know much about it, other than it was one that I was interested in.

Like working in parks vs. resorts vs. DTD?
Also Epcot's World Showcase is mainly for international program people I'm imagining haha?

Any insight would be wonderful

I think working at Cinderella's Royal Table would be so much fun! So do you just seat people and take reservation, kinda like a hostess, or is there more to it than that?

Wow that is so exciting! Both of those restaurants would be in my top choices, haha especially Cinderella's Royal Table! That must be so magical! Did you request that, or were you just the luckiest person doing FSF&B?!

I would love to ask you questions, haha thanks so much for responding! I guess I want to know:
What do your responsibilities entail?
How do you and your roomie like the role?
How are the hours?
Do you work alone or are you with other CPers?/ Do you have time to meet other CPers during work hours? (I was worried I'd be almost the only one at the hostess area and would never get to meet the other people who worked there!)

I definitely have more questions than this, but this is what i can think of for now! I am so psyched, but I really kind of want to put in a request for locations. Do you have any idea how to do that?

What a strange coincidence, because I actually work at Kona Cafe and my roommate works at Cinderella's as a seater, too! Weird... LOL

Hi, I did fsfb during my first program in 2008. Now I had a very interesting experience because I worked at the garden grill in the land at epcot, so I had to deal with a restaurant that rotates around a ride and also included character dining, lol. Basically what I did was either seating, checking people in for adr's and making reservations for people, or actually making the seating plan on the computer, which I actually never did because it is very nerve wracking. If we weren't busy we would fold napkins and if we were very busy we would help the servers bus their tables. I also had the wonderful job of stopping people from running up the ramp into the restaurant when they saw the characters. I was called a lot of names and yelled at a lot in this job but I doubt you will have to worry about that unless you end up at the garden grill, lol, because it was a completely open restaurant inside an extremely busy building. Also, as far as breaks go, I can only speak for our restaurant but basically we got all our breaks at one time because it was when we closed between lunch and dinner so we got an hour and a half break. One last thing you will probably have a pretty set schedule because I almost always worked open to close which was 11:30 or 12 am to 8:30 or 9 pm. If you have any questions let me know!
