Full Payment Question

Hi

I paid for my trip in full the other day... 6 nights BC & 4 nights AKL... full rates - concierge... ouch

I was wondering - if some miracle occurs and there is a code or something for August (paid rack rates last summer with no code)
do I have to take a Visa Credit or can I have it put as a room credit for while we are there?

Anyone have any experience with this?

I believe if you keep the same ressie, they can apply it to the room. If they have to cancel the ressie and enter a new one, they have to refund the card.

Yes,

We paid in full for our stay at WL Concierge last October.

They still ask for a credit card at check-in.

Your new confirmation will reflect what you have paid and you can adjust when a code comes out and just leave what you have paid alone.

We used the overage we had paid for food, souveniers, etc. for our entire trip and only put about $50 worth of stuff on the cc at check out.

Just call when/if a code comes out, have them adjust your ressie, leave what you have paid on there.

You can figure for yourself what your room/tax will be per night and how much extra you will have.

Yes, denman007 is right.

My scenario was only if you can have the code applied to your ressie. If for some reason you have to cancel and re-book then they will have to refund your original form of payment.

Hi.. thanx for the info - will keep my fingers crossed for some "fun money" on my account...

I am not going to hold my breath.... paid full rack rates last summer. At least my trip is all paid for now - so any further reduction is a great bonus.
