Full party can't make it, do I need to change character dining ADR?

My husband suddenly isn't going to make it to WDW until at least day after us. We already have an ADR for Garden Grill for the night for three people (2 adults, 1 infant). So now the ressie is for 1 adult, 1 infant. Do I need cancel and try to re-book with the correct number of people? Or can I just leave it.

My DS17 got sick on our last trip and was unable to make some of our ADRs. We let them know upon arrival at the restaurants. It was never a problem.

When you arrive at Garden Grill just let the CM know there are just 2 of you. It won't be a problem. Also, Garden Grill is a credit card guarantee venue, but as long as someone shows up for the reservation, you won't be charged for the missing person.
