This will be our 3rd trip to WDW in Sept. We have never been to a waterpark at WDW or anywhere else for that matter, so we decided to try BB this year. For those that get there at the 10AM opening do you usually stay half day or is a full day?:scratchin We are going on a Monday and it is myself, DH and DD4. We have the pirates and pals firework cruise that night and am trying to figure our if we can squeeze in a few hours at Epcot in the afternoon before the cruise? We do not get PH, but I am assuming that we can use a WP ticket on the same day as a regular park ticket?

Epcot is out least fav park and originally we had planned to skip it, but now I'm kinda wanting to go epecially since TT is back up as it was closed during our trip last year and I keep reading such rave reviews on it, plus DD loves the character spot. Any helpful advice is much appreciated! :goodvibes

I set aside 2 full days for BB and TL (we prefer TL, btw!) last trip. We got there at opening and by about 2pm, DS and I had both had enough... actually, I was done by 12 :crazy2:, but hung in there til DS was ready. There's no way i could stay there from opening til close.

And yes, you can use a WP ticket and park ticket on the same day.

We always plan for a full day at the water parks...it is a nice opportunity to relax for a bit. Plus, after a day in the heat and water we are all completely exhausted. If u plan on being done early I would use that time for a bit of a nap and relaxing at the resort before the fireworks cruise.

We spent 1 full day at each water park, and split a third day between the 2. :thumbsup2

I usually do the waterparks from about 10am until 6-7pm,I know a lot of people only stay for 3-5 hours, but I love the waterparks and I need to be there at least most of the day.Epcot is my favorite park so I won't be the one telling you it's fine to go for 2 hours as I usually spend a good chunk of the time at Epcot when compared to the other parks. If you know you only want to do TT and don't mind spending a day of your tickets on a couple of hours at Epcot then go ahead and do it.

I go to the waterparks at opening, and plan to spend the whole day, but often only make it until 2:00 or 3:00. It can be surprisingly tiring to spend all day in the hot sun, especially if you're climbing stairs over and over for the slides! Usually by 1:00 or so, the lines are long enough that I stop going on the slides and switch over to the lazy river instead. Now that, I could do all day!

Don't forget the waterproof sunscreen - Coppertone Sport Spray stays on really well, and is very easy to apply.

Me ? I could live at BB everyday morning to close but have to agree with pp
go back to resort , rest, then do the cruise The water, heat, etc is going to wipe you all out

We are full day watermark people too - you would not believe how fast the day goes by.

Absolute ditto on this. There's no way I'd attempt a waterpark, Epcot, and a fireworks cruise with a 4YO. Heck, I don't think my 11 and 9 YOs could make it; I think the dark boat ride would put them right to sleep! I'd go for the nap in between instead.

Thanks for the advice! I think we will just stick with BB and the cruise!
