This is a fairly new product that I have seen several reports on our local news and also national news shows on that compare its effects to gastric bypass surgery. Needless to say, I am a bit skeptical, to say the least.

My neighbor who I am taking next week for gastric bypass and her friend who just had gastric sleeve surgery done recently were out for lunch today and got talking to their waitress about their recent & upcoming surgeries. Now, I do not normally consider second hand info from waitresses to be my best source of info but this woman had an interesting story to tell. Her teenage daughter has been using the Full Bars for a while and is losing about 7 lbs/wk for a total of about 30 lbs lost so far. Supposedly, she has been eating 1 bar per day with water under the supervision of her Doctor, but has now cut down to 1 bar every other day and still feels full.

I'd love to hear some input from some of you, especially any of you who may have tried this product.

Here is a link to the info I found on the GNC site.

Sorry, no help here ;) , but I read about these a while ago, and even emailed the company through the Fullbar website to make sure that they didn't contain anything sunflower (I'm allergic/BTW if anyone else reading is allergic to sunflowers too, they don't contain any), but then I never followed through and ordered.

There are some posts over on the 3fatchicksonadiet website in the "Does it work" section where users were saying that it did seem to keep them full, and non-users were saying you could get the same results using fiber instead, etc. And so far none of the Full Bar users have come back and posted their final results yet.

If you try them, please come back and post! You might want to check the fullbar website itself against the GNC prices to see which is less $$$. Oh and one poster over on the other site said she got hers from eBay, so they must be over there too! :goodvibes

I've not heard of anything and wanted to see what's been said so far.

Have you tried them?

I wanted to do a follow up post to my post above about if the Fullbars contained sunflower ingredients (which I'm allergic to). Well when I emailed the company they said not, and I posted that, BUT now their website has the ingredient list for all varieties posted, and only 3 flavors do not! All the others do. So if you have food allergies, be sure to look at the labels on their website and don't go by what they say in their emails :thumbsup2

I'm sure glad I re-checked the labels on their website before ordering any of those. I would like to lose weight, but not by dying

I just read about another product that sounds interesting - look at a fiber filler called "PGX". Not a bar, but same principal, fills you up so you don't eat as much. Doesn't look like anyone here has tried the Fullbars, so how about PGX? Anyone?
