Saw this today at WalMart and thought it was a decent buy if anyone's in the market for a digital camera. It has a large LCD screen, optical and digital zoom, and video capabilities. It also comes with a bonus pack of tripod, case, rechargable batteries and charger, and software.

One of my daughters has this camera. It is relatively easy to use and for her needs and my pocketbook it fit the bill. I've gotten spoiled with my DSLR so I haven't really played with it but she's happy and her pictures are fairly good quality.

Angelika, what features does the Easy Share have that this doesn't that you are looking for? I'm thinking it might make a nice gift for someone who doesn't have a digital camera.
