I don't like eating right before a run. I am a morning runner, so usually it's not a problem. But I'm running the ToT and not sure how to eat that day. The idea of eating a big carb meal at 6:00p sounds terrible. But if I just snack at dinner time, I'm thinking I'll be starving by 10:00p.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Fortunately, I have the "morning after" meal all worked out. Ohana here I come! :woohoo:

I am running as well and thinking of the days meals. I think the plan is to eat a good carb lunch and a light dinner, most likely fruit or granola.

I'm running the Wine and Dine in November with a similar race start time. I plan to eat a large lunch around noon, of baked chicken and pasta. Before I leave for the corrals, I will eat an English Muffin with peanut butter and a banana. That is exactly what I eat before long morning races, and I will have my Gu or Clif shot blocs just in case. I hope this works out!
