FTW is BOOKED!!!!!! (finally)

Great news...I just got a call back from Disney. We booked our intimate wedding at the WP at 6pm on Monday, May 29th. I am super excited!!!! We already had our hotel reservations ready, so our wonderful EM is going to email the contract this afternoon. What a relief.... sorry, but I have to do the happy dance OK...much bettter now. Thanks for all of your support!

I thought the time slots were: 10am, 12, 2, and 4....I am asking b/c my wedding will be in May 2007, and the 6pm time might be good for me.....TIA, and CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!

I read in the Disney Weddings book (from www.yourfairytale.com) that the times at the WP were 10am, 12, 2, 4, and 6pm. When I spoke with my EM, I asked what the latest time slot was for the WP that day. She told me it was 4pm. I asked about 6pm. When she realized that I really wanted it at 6, she said that she would put me in for that time slot. I am not sure if it is generally available. It doesn't seem that they had many weddings that day. Since it is Memorial Day and the minimums for customs are higher, I figure most people would choose Saturday or Sunday for that weekend. When it comes time to book, I would just ask. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! We are really happy. We have the rehearsal dinner for Ohanas and the day-after breakfast at Crystal Palace. Now, we need to get our dinner plans for the night of the wedding. I asked about the fireworks party at Epcot, but I need to hear back on availability.

Congrats! It must be such a relief! I'm sure you can't believe it is happening so quickly now when you thought you would have to wait quite a while! We're getting married on the 20th (one of the long weekend days up here, I was afraid it would more expensive on your long weekend!) and I will be thinking of you on the big day!
