FTP Question

We are traveling with a total of 9 people,and have 3 rooms booked with the FTP.I know that no changes can be made that would affect the priceing after the cut off date,but can the name be changed from one adult name to a different adult name with a problem?Not the name the room is booked in,that person will be there,only if someone needs to back out and I find someone else to take their place.Also can the room deposit be transfered from one ressie to another?I have never done a pkg before and have always done AP rates,codes,etc.I am Disney Club and used my discount. I know that the other way that I booked,I could transfer money from one to another as long as they had the same name and address.Also would travel insurance cover the weather delays?Thanks

We also have the FTP. At one point my husband due to work might not have been able to go. I called WDTC several times and spoke to diff. cast members just to make sure that they all said the same thing. And YES they did. They all said I have 2 options, either cancel out my husbands portion of the trip & I would save some money(this was because the FTP is based on double occupancy, & three of us were going) or I can tell either another family member or a friend to go in his place. I didn't get any further then that because thankfully my husband is able to go with us. Now, as far as changing names, I may be wrong with this but I don't think names of the people in your party matter. Only the name of the person who booked the room counts. I would call WDTC just to put my mind at ease, but they told me it wasn't a problem.(disney changes its mind daily)

I was told that I could change a name in my FT reservation up to 5 days before check-in. I booked with DC. Don't know if this makes a difference.
