FTP extension-anyone else told their dates not available?

I'm just curious - was anyone else told that the dates you want for the FTP in November are not available at the resort you want? If so, how did you handle it? Maybe it's because I'm going 11/8 - 11/15 which I thought would be less crowded until I found out that Jersey Week might be extended to 11/11. At any rate, I can't change my dates, because my parents and in-laws are coming and this is the only week we can all go.

Yes, we had the same problem. We have a ressie for BWV in September, but we really wanted BCV. They were sold out in September. So when the package was extended, I tried for November (we never wanted to go in October), but they were sold out then too. They may be sold out completely. I don't know.

Well, I just got off the phone with CRO and was told they have 3 rooms at the GF if I change my dates to 11/10 - 11/17. I don't know what to do! My husband really wants to go Sat. - SAt. for ease of vacation from work - Mon. - Mon. is probably too many days for him to take right now (fairly new job) and this is a bad time to bring this stuff up to him because of a death in his family last week...
