Ft. Wilerness for camp fire - more

I think my two boys would love this. Do they have it everynight? do you need to make reservatons? How far is it from CBR? anything else going on there? fireworks etc?

it is every night... not sure where to find the movie schedule of what is showing.

To get there frm CBR you need to go first to a park... either Epcot and take a bus to FW or MK and take boat to FW. Once at FW you will need to take the internal bus to the Meadow trading post or ask the driver where best to get off for the campfire.

Your other alternative if you have a car is to drive to FW guest parking and then get the internal bus. This would be much quicker than using Disney transportation. To get to FW from the CBR... make a right out of CBR and follow the signs to Port Orleans... continue past PO Riverside and make a left at the light you come to. This road will take you right pash FW guest parking.

Check here on the Dis under the camping forum. There is always a sticky at the top with a list of the movies for the month and times. This is available on the first of each month. Typically the singalong starts at 7pm, Chip and Dale come by to meet and sign autographs, and the movie starts at 7:40. There is a campfire and if you don't bring your own stuff, you can buy a stick and some marshmellows for something in the 1.50 range. We haven't checked it out but there is a snack place there to buy stuff too.

sorry, didn't answer all your questions! Yes it is every night unless inclement weather and the singalong is moved to the trading post veranda I think. You just show up, no reservations needed and you can come and go as you please. We often would not stay for the entire movie, just wind down for a bit, enjoy the experience and get the kids into bed by 8:30 (our site was just a 5 min walk away).
