Ft Wilderness- what can we do in a morning?

Admin, Please move if this is not the correct forum..

We have an empty morning on one of our trips and our DSs would LOVE to take a tour of Ft Wilderness. What is there to do in the morning with 2 boys (8&5). I watched an old you tube video and it showed kids canoeing and kayaking, and I am assuming that after the gator incident- they most likely don't do that anymore. Any ideas on how to kill 3-4 hours?

You'd get more answers in the camping forum. That's where all of the FW peeps hang out. We have stayed there quite a few times. Some offerings depend on the time of year. I think there is a calendar that tells the different "classes" and times they are offered - things like archery. They also have horseback riding you can sign up for and I think some of the pleasure boats still dock there if you want a boat ride. There are a couple of playgrounds.
