Can I sub out fries from the meals at counter service resturants? If so, what are my options?

Fries are OK, but I can't eat them everyday.

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought I've seen fruit offered in place of fries at some of the counter service places.

carrot sticks (pre-packaged baby carrots) are also an option at some places.

( I agree with you..I don't eat fries all that often while at home..they are a once in a while 'treat'...couldnt' deal with EVERY day!)

I just ask for the meal without fries and get it for a reduced price. Some places will have a carrot option or an apple option. If they don't, I just get the entree and nothing else. Freaks my husband out but the Cast Member doesn't even blink an eye.

Yep, fruit or carrots. I'm glad there is an option like that, I couldn't eat alot of fries either.

My son doesn't eat fries at all and every place had no problem subbing something. Almost all places had packages of baby carrots and apple sauce. A few had other fruits or veggies specific to that place (grapes were fairly common). Often they gave him the fruit or veggie AND a little pack of mickey crackers. He split between ordering kids and adult meals about 50/50.
