Frustration with FP booking

OK this will not be a nightly "OMFG SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I CAN'T BOOK EXACTLY AT MIDNIGHT" thread.

My beef is you have to check in which members of your party you'll be checking in prior to making selections. I have a DS and DM who will be doing tamer things while my DW and DD and I ride some headliners. However my DS and DM will be joining us on some things. So it's like this:

Book the 5 of us on SDMT together
Book the 5 of us on TSMM together

Log out of the site and log back in and choose only me, DW and DD

Get RnRc
Get Space Mountain
Get Star Tours
Get EE
Get Soarin

Log back out of the site

Log back in and get my Mom and Son things to do while we do those things.

Would it be much easier if you clicked on an attraction, then clicked on which members of your party were doing it? In order to complete our FP+ I just figured it out, it will take 5 log in/log outs to complete....At 1am.

I haven't done ours yet (our 60days is the 12th). But why do you have to log out each time? Can you not just change for each person??

You can all three selections the same for everybody and then change one of them for some of the people, or select the attractions you want for everybody and click "plan another day" and complete the rest of the same day.

Not sure. I should find out in 7 minutes, but that will actually be 1:07 due to the glitch. When I play with the system it asks me which members of my party I want to check in.

But what happen if our party is split between desirable things. Dad, Wife and I want a great 7DMT while Mom and Son want Elsa. Not easy to book both exactly at 1am.

By the glitch do you mean that we can't start making reservations until 1:00 am EST? WHen I try to do PF now, it just gives me 30 days out, even though I have a resort reservation.

Hopefully you found out that you don't have to log out to make the next FP+ reservation for different people. I had a split party to make reservations for earlier this week and it took about an hour to get everything I wanted and changing the times of each reservation to what I wanted. And booking Mine Train at 1 and A&E at 1:04 won't keep you from getting them.
