I made dinner ADR for Chefs de France for just my husband & myself. My niece, her husband and child are going with us, but this was our "date night" so ADR is just for us two. So I saw an ADR pop up for the three of them for Coral Reef for around same time. But it won't let me book for them, because the times are too close together. Can't you book two separate ADRS for friends & family? Annoying! They don't have a conflicting ADR. Should I just call the Disney number and see if they can help?

If you log into one of their accounts on MDE you could book for them. The issue right now is it thinks you are going to be at both restaurants. If you call that will also work because it won't be auto-linked to you.

Thanks. I just don't want to bother my niece who is working a 12 hour shift today. I don't have her login and we are having a Disney last-minute planning pow-wow tomorrow night anyway. I'm just worried the ADR will be gone. Maybe I'll just take my chances. They are pretty chill about the whole thing and have been letting me plan. But it just irritates me that it can't differentiate between a sub-set of people in your traveling party. Thanks for advice. Thought there might be a work-around. Oh well.

When you call you just need their names not their account. You only need the account if you don't want to call.

If you call, they can do it for you. The online system won't. I had the same problem....we're a party of 4 and 2 of us were going to one place and 2 to another. I couldn't reserve both even though you tell the system who is going. My teen kids (17 years old) don't have their own MDE so I found it very frustrating and my husband hasn't set up one either.

Just call.

Thanks for the advice! But as I suspected, the ADR time was taken while I was wringing my hands. My own fault, but not a tragedy. I bet another time might show up closer to trip.

To alleviate this in the future (potentially) set up another MDE account with a second email address for yourself (or hubby, whoever). If you are trying for an ADR at the same time as your original one, just log in with the alternate email address and you should be able to quickly book the second. I had to do this for our upcoming trip as I'm planning for 3 family "units" who keep changing their minds. It has worked for me - hope this helps.

I did the same thing and used my DD information. I had too many juggling their meals so this was the easiest way to manage.

What a great idea! Don't know why I didn't think of that! Appreciate the help, everyone.

Just to update the saga (LOL!), my niece came over to plan trip last night and a 6:55 p.m. ADR opened up for Coral Reef! So we were able to get them an ADR after all! :thumbsup2
