Frustrating morning with MDE

Though technically it wasn't just the app....it was also the site AND on the phone. Trying to make my ADRs this am. The app gave me error messages twice right at the very end of trying to reserve...so I switched to the site, which refused to accept my credit card three times and with two different cards. Tried calling CRO direct and waited 15 minutes both times before being disconnected! Finally got the site to accept my reservations and ultimately got what I wanted but not before pulling out some hair.

Has anyone seen a ball? I think Disney dropped it.

NOT looking forward to linking my park tickets in a few weeks. my advice to others...EXPECT things to go wrong and pack your patience. Things will probably go very wrong before they go right but eventually it will go right.
 
Honestly, I don't really care anymore. My entire family has their magic bands showing up on the app (today). I'm sure it will change a million times before July. I'll make our FP+ times at 60 days. Our arrival day isn't a park day. So while my wife unpacks, I'll go down to guest relations and have them fix whatever mess they have made.

Thanks for the heads up. I will make sure that I put on some happy music and fill my coffee cup, before I try.
 
FYI - They announced that during the month of May there will be Star Wars character meals and TONS of folks are calling to reserve their times for that. Lots and lots of on hold folks (for up to an hour +) so that may have affected your ADR experience this morning.

:thumbsup2 Same here. I do mine tomorrow and I went on yesterday just to see what was available at 180, and had the system freezing, etc. I have a brand new laptop and the fastest internet at&t makes, so I know what the problem is.....

I just discovered that while surfing the restaurant board. I assume it was somewhat to blame.

That may be the reason I can't seem to cancel an ADR at the moment. I'm so used to the buggy site and moody app that I never think to explore any other reason than that it's just crappy.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll just leave it a while and then try again or call. Fortunately it's not urgent but probably one someone else would like to use so it would be nice to get it back into the system sometime soon.
