Frustrating Experience with NBC Dining reservations

I called Universal today to try to make reservations at NBC sports grill for a party of 9 in March 2020. This was after trying to book online and discovering you have to call for parties of 7 or more and also seeing availability limited and sold out for parties of 6. Over the phone, I was first told a large party had to be 10 people so I would have to book online. When I told her the website said 7 or more, she then told me I could only book 30 days in advance. Then I told her online booking was already open and seemed limited. I asked could she please double check. She then repeated 30 days only. Does this seem a little off? Anyway I booked tables of 4 and 5 online for times as close as possible. Anyway else have experience with this?

I think 30 days out is right. I wouldn’t assume the online availability is accurate. I really didn’t think you could book this far out. What online booking system are you using?

I would just try calling again later. Reservations aren't nearly as necessary at Universal as at WDW.

Zomatobook.com- I was directed there from the universal Orlando site.

I think you'll be fine calling and booking a reservation 30 days out. NBC Grill is big and has plenty of room, I don't think you'll have an issue.
