Frustrated

I need to vent....I have been on the phone all morning with disney reservations trying to change my reservation. I originally booked CS but then found a great deal for WL. I was on hold for 25 minutes then finally hung up. I booked my own reservation through their website and then called them back to cancel the exising reservation. That went ok after being on the phone for 20 minutes.

I then tried to add UPH tickets through my online reservation but couldn't ....so I called the disney # and got a human who told me I couldn't book the UPH tickets through them because I booked the reservation online....UGH!!!

So.....I have a reservation at the WL for 2/17-2/24 but no tickets as of yet.....She told me I would have to buy the tickets from the resort when I arrived so I wouldn't get the discount. What am I missing....???

Everytime I call the 407wdisney I get a different answer. I get put on hold for 20 minutes and still don't accomplish my reservations.

Are you using a discount code?

There are certain codes for room only and certain codes for packages.

If you are using a discount code then I would try and get this mess straightened out today because the code expires today.

I would keep calling back until you get someone who knows what they are doing.

If you booked a room only reservation online I don't know if they can switch it over to a package that includes tickets.

I'm extremely frustrated myself. I made room only reservations using a code and when my confirmation arrived it said that the remaining package amount was due by 02/01/04 and no additional notices would be sent. I called Disney reservations to see if this was a mistake because I didn't have a package I had room only reservations and was told the balance would be due when I arrived. Disney reservations assured me that their computer showed that my balance wasn't due until I arrived and since I knew that other people on thid board had experienced this same thing I tried not to worry about it. I did check on the Disney World website every day since February 1st and up until today it still showed that I had a reservation. Now today I checked and guess what!!?? The Disney World web site says "SORRY THIS RESERVATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED." Arghhh!! I will now have to call reservations and try to get this straightened out. I think I will just pay the entire amount to be on the safe side since today is the last day the discount codes are good.

UHPs are not get bargains. Why not just do Park Hoppers and save the agrevation? It is not worth getting upset over, especially if you saved real money on your resort. Just my opinion. Jay

you're right....I think I will just do a 6 day Park Hopper Plus....I want to go to Universal for a day anyway. It's just the point that
I can't believe how under trained the customer service reps are at Disney....with such a money making operation you would think they would be easier and more professional to deal with.

I understand your frustration. I just called tonight to change from Pop Century to Riverside, and they charged my credit card the deposit twice! I finally cancelled the reservation and had them start all over so my CC wouldn't be holding double the actual amount as a deposit.

Buy the 6 day park hopper from Paramount (sells disney tickets online cheaper. It is cheaper than buying them from disney. I bought them from my past trip and had no problems

1) Call Disney toll free 1-800-421-3732 so you aren't paying for the call.

2) After a couple of minutes you can tell if the CM is knowledgeable. If not, hang up and call back.

Discount Ticket Information on the DIS!

I have personally used The Official Ticket Center for tickets - one of the cool things you can get there that is not available elsewhere is a 4 day hopper plus ticket!
