I've been trying for days to finish editing photos and get my pre-ordered CD finalized and ordered but the site keeps erroring out and the photos take forever to preview. Is it just me?

I feel the same about most disney sites. Like right now, wdw.com is giving me a major headache, not letting me check in and the "make a dining reservation" link, not loading!! :headache: Fingers crossed photopass speeds up for you! :goodvibes

No, it is SOP when it comes to Disney and any of their websites.

This is one of the world's largest companies. You'd think they'd be able to have a first-class internet presence.

Nope, same thing happened to me. Wasted a lot of time trying to edit the few pictures I wanted to edit.

It was disappointing. I didn't expect it to be so bad.

No, I have not been able to get my pre-paid CD worked out either and am starting to stress with our photos expiring on the 27th :scared1:

We just returned from 10 days at WDW and I tried to look at my photo pass pics today. They took forever to view, and I was unable to load many of them. I pre-ordered the CD, but there are maybe 2 good pictures out of 110 photo pass pics taken. Most were either poor lighting, bad angle, or we just aren't looking at the camera. Not really happy with the photos, and when we did see a photo pass person at meet and greet, but they took only one or maybe 2 pics. Most of the time we didn't do the meet and greet because the wait was soooo long. Can I get a refund on the prepaid order? The pictures I took with my I phone were better than the photo pass photos.

I seem to be in the minority but we were really happy with Photopass.

Yes some photos were a little off centre or a tad out of focus but the vast majority were lovely and the off centre ones were easily fixed :)

We also had at least 4 photos from each meet and greet.

Perhaps we were just lucky the but the website was also fine when it came to editing out photos. The photos were maybe a little slow to load but nothing overly annoying :)

I'm sorry you've all had such trouble :(

Yes you can get a refund and not get the cd.

It's just like visiting the parks - I've had the best photopass website performance in the morning. As people log on later in the day and evening it bogs down.

I had the same issue back in August, the site is horrible and was the last straw for me and PP. I doubt I will use the service in future -the photo quality is not good and the length of time to edit afterward is even worse. And I agree with pp's saying that all WDW sites are really below par, which I find very surprising for a company that prides itself on giving quality customer service. IMO, it's really something they need to focus on and soon, people are not going to put up with crappy websites for very long.

I was very tempted to ask for a refund, after my experience, but I really wanted to have the memories from this past trip as it was my son's first. Definitely a live and learn experience for me. I'm glad to read that they do in fact issue refunds to those who were not satisfied with the service. That's something at least.

For future reference, you can also have the Photopass people take a picture with your camera. :)

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who has this problem. It doesn't seem to matter when I log on, PP is always slow & buggy. Even as I write this, the PP site booted me out-AGAIN!! So frustrating!!:furious:

I have been going nuts with this website! Glad to see it isn't a problem with my computer. But something even stranger happened. When I viewed my pictures, there were 3 or 4 other pictures of my family on the Jungle Cruise--nothing posed for, totally unaware we were being photographed! Has this happened to anyone else? :confused3 I know Disney has the facial recognition software (because they use it on the Cruise Line), but I found it a little creepy that Disney is following us with cameras. Kinda like the papparazzi!

Every disney site is slow and buggy.

We get the photopass every year and sometimes more then once a year and we always have the same problem .It doesn't matter if you have 100 or 500 photos, it's just as slow. I find that loggin on and off sometimes will help and refresh is my #1 friend when the borders are not available. Also working on your photos at 3am is better then evening IMO. This last time I had a 3 month old therefor was up feeding her at weird times and often the middle of the night I would work on photos after feeding her.
