Here are two posts that talk about adding additional days

Hope that helps. Just a word of warning, my brother-in-law tried to upgrade from a 3 day to a 4 day Parkhopper and they were able to see how much a paid for the 3 day (less then the current rate) and the upgrade was the cost of a current 4 day pass minus the cost of what he paid for the 3 day not what the current cost of the 3 day was. Hope that makes sense. So hopefully since you got a good deal on a 6 day pass they will just look at it and see that it is a 6 day pass and charge you only $5 per person to upgrade to a 7th day.

We went from 5 to 6 days for $5 per person. We decided halfway through that we didn't want to leave DL area for the day at the end of our trip like we had planned. We just asked our hotel a few days into our trip and they changed our tickets for us. I know that's different than going to 7 days ;) We bought them from Last Minute Travel for cheap and it was still only $5.

So I'm planning on buying 5 day tickets..but ya'll are saying if I get there and decide we wanna go that first day I can add a day? Do I do this the first day? I'm not sure we'll feel up to it after a huge car trip but if we DO I want to be able to do this. 5 bucks? Really???

Yes the difference between 5 and 6 days is $5. If you bough your tickets at a discount you may have to pay that difference also. You can do this any day of your visit, as long as it is before the end of your 5th day.

Oooh ok. I may not have paid attention to the fact that it was only 5 dollars difference. So basically if I buy from disneyland.com I'd be 'safer' as far as the extra pricing I'd have to pay?

Thanks for the info..maybe we'll pop over the day we arrive too. :)

Like I said we bought from Last Minute Travel at a large discount and paid $5 to add the day. I believe as long as you use the first day, they will only charge the $5. We upgraded in the middle of day 4.

We had 6 day park hoppers for our stay of 7 days in September. I asked at the guests services window right outside Disneyland if we could upgrade them and she said yes for $5 extra per ticket, just that they'd take away our souvenir plastic tickets and replace them with paper ones if we did. We just had to upgrade before the office closed on the 6th day of use, which is about an hour after the park closes ifirc. So yes you can upgrade from 6 to 7 day tickets. We are from Australia but I booked a vacation package straight through Disney travel in the US.

In the end we didn't upgrade them as we had a day off at the pool due to sore feet lolz. I did upgrade one ticket to an annual pass though so we could get the 10% discount on things, it was about $140 extra. If you think you may spend more then enough to recover that cost and be ahead like we did, then think about an annual pass upgrade for one ticket.
