Hello all.

I had my reservations (4 guests) all set for Caribbean Beach from Feb 3 through Feb 9th. After the reservation was paid in full, I found out that my daughter who I havnt seen in years can join us. Of course I do everything I can to get her here. Since our guest size is now too large for a single room at the Caribbean Beach, I was frantically looking to get our reservations fixed. I was very fortunate to get 2 rooms from Feb 3rd through Feb 7th. However, the nights of the 7th and 8th are proving quite frustrating.

I have called Disney and AAA multiple times daily to no avail. I have adjusted my dates to longer, etc still with no avail. What other kind of tips other then getting super lucky might there be to get a resort for 2 nights?

Thanks!

mardi gras in Louisiana during that time. Seems like everyone will be heading to disney for their vacations.

My AAA is showing availability at CSR, have you asked about another resort ?

Concerning AAA, I am member and called this morning. Although their website shows availability, I was told that in reality, there are no availabilities at all. I tried all of the mediums and values.

I also am not to keen on letting her stay their without their knowledge. My luck would kick in and we would be busted. :)

Check travels sites... expedia, travelocity, etc., some airlines offer packages, too. It's worth a try.

The Dolphin has rooms for 259.00/night. Maybe you could just switch for those 2 nights? (the 7th & 8th). They are supposed allow 5 in a room.

Good info about the Swan. I am seriously thinking about the Swan! I keep finding it. Maybe that is what we need to do. :)

And thanks for the PM's. My post count is too low so I cannot respond to them. :guilty:

What about Port Orleans Riverside. They have a trundle and sleep 5. Keep checking there. Good Luck!!!

POR is FULL for those dates, almost all of WDW resorts are full that entire week. I'm dealing w/ a similar problem. Gator, if you cancel your ressie at CBR let me know ;) I'll snatch that one up quick!

You have your work cut out for you. Mardi Gras crowd is coming that week and there are some big conventions at the same time. I would call Disney every day and see if there was a last minute cancel but don't hold your breath. You may have to book a room off site this time in order to bring her.

I know some of the deluxes have been 100% booked for months now. I have seen many post such as yours where there is no room anywhere on property for this week. I have been watching close as I will be there that week and am worried about the park crowds!!!

Good luck

Would you consider, as a last resort, staying off site for those last 2 nights?

:) I will do that. But I have a strange feeling that I am not letting go of those for nothing.

We are definitly looking at the possibility. We are already staying off-site for Saturday, Feb 2nd. Two more nights wont ruin the vacation, but I much prefer the Disney experience. I am working trying to convince the wife of the fabulous experience the Swan has to offer...but it's not working. :)

The SWAN is a great resort! I would go with that option!

Definitely spring for the Swan and the onsite experience. Staying over by the boardwalk is awesome. All of the restaurants are great, just being able to walk into Epcot or ride a boat to MGM is great, PLUS if you go offsite you can't take advantage of extra magic hours!!! Good luck, and have a great trip! Maybe the fact that things are booked up is because of conventions, and that doesn't usually affect the park crowds so much.:)

The Dolphin is great, you will love it! I much prefer the Swan and the Dolphin to CBR. The location is great and both are deluxe hotels. Give a split stay a try if you can't add the extra nights at CBR.
