Yes, Frushi. At Epcot, the F&G booth in Japan has Frushi. Fruit sushi. Really good, not too sweet, very fruity and not too bad at $5.95. Had my doubts, but it was excellent, something different to try. Fun.

It looks adorable. We will have to get an order for my great nieces.

When my son was a young boy, we made kid’s candy “sushi” with Rice Krispie treats, fruit Roll-Ups and Swedish Fish. It looked fantastic, but wasn’t the best tasting treat so we made it only one time.

My youngest daughter loves Frushi after having it years ago at the Flower/garden festival. DH came up with his own version that he'll make her a couple times a year to take to school for lunch. DD13 is SO excited to be going to the festival again this year to have the 'real' version!

I hear the one at DCA far surpasses the Epcot version

Oh gosh, I can't imagine that's possible. I just tried it on Thursday after wanting to for SO long. It was absolutely disgusting. I took one bite and threw the rest in the trash. The rice part had the consistency of paste. It was dense, incredibly chewy, and had NO flavor. The strawberry inside was just on the wrong side of ripe...transleucent and fermented tasting. The outer coating was this weird tacky, gummy red strip that had no flavor at all. The sauce on top was literally watered down greek yogurt. It was void of any flavor and the texture was gag inducing.

I’m with DLgal...the frushi at the DCA F&W was one of the two worst things I’ve ever eaten at DLR. Ours might have been slight better than her’s because the strawberry was actually sweet and the only good part of the dish. I thought the rest of the frushi was both slimey and sticky at the same time, overly sweet and mushy.

I saw a recipe for the Epcot frushi and my guess is that DCA’s used too much cream of coconut and didn’t account for the extra liquid/moisture from the yogurt sauce.
